I don't think it's even been confirmed that he's a founding member. A lot of the complaining about this new stuff is based on wild fan speculation.

Im going t say he's a finding member. Between cyborg taking over superman's role in Flashpoint and the JLD solicit having his name in the same breath as supes, and wondy.

I am still not liking the new designs. Why can he not have two normal hands like the cartoon? Really tech should look sleek and more human. At the very least a holographic projector. I am not liking him becoming more Red Tornado then Human.

Okay, I`ll just say it:

During most of the eighties, I always assumed Cyborg was using silver-colored trunks. The most recent looks, however (since, IDK, winnick`s Titans?) always imply that he´s an eunuch.

I`m not fond of that notion.

Well its not often I see the word eunuch but I must agree with that assessment.

Ok, i'm finding that i agree with you more often than not. Heck i say take it one step further and go totally Smallville, and let one arm do a death head like morph into the all-purpose weapon, that way you open him for a realistic shot at a romance that isnt all plot and no substance.

I agree. I don't hate his new design, but I would much rather have him look more human than machine. I too think they should have him be more like his Smallville counterpart where he has his cybernetic parts on the inside of his body. Or at the very least, have him transform between the two. When he isn't fighting he looks like a regular human being, but when he does fight, he can transform and bring out cybernetic armor and weapons.

Big Bulky Cyborg isn't my ideal but if he is on the best superhero team now I guess he might need a little more armor if he is going to be taking on enemies that Superman needs help taking down.


Not crazy about whatever is going on around Cyborg's neck and back though. It just looks a little off to me

Thats an awesome pic and I ove the way everyone, especially Aquaman looks.

I agree that Cyborg looks cool here and while I don't necessarily prefer this new bulkier version, I don't mind the way he is drawn here. I just hope that he plays an important role on the team and isn't blown up or bitch-smacked around.

Yeah, that's Red Tornado's responsibilty. (I do hate how DC has been abusing Reddy for so many years . . . even the Metal Men get more respect!)

I'm hoping Cyborg is able to transfigure his armor to make a full helmet for himself, otherwise I'm not crazy about the design from the shoulders up.


But the other leaguer's costume looks really great. Al though I'll be honest Wonder Woman's current costume (pre DCnU) is better than the one in the pic imo

I hope he has more than just the sonic cannon on his arm. I would like his armor to include and entire arsenal and for him to be a cyberpath of sorts.
