I can tell that I'm going to love this! Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis are killing it in these preview pages. I'm a bigger fan of Reis than Lee because his images have more depth and weight IMO. And since this is an Aquaman crossover, we'll finally get some Aquaman-level writing on Justice League!

And we're finally getting two story arcs in which Vic is a power player! "Throne of Atlantis" followed by "The Grid".

Love how Johns has built up Silas Stone too.

Also Cyborg only has one lung- noted. You all know I'm keeping a tally of what organs he's got left lol

Looks like Element Woman finally shows up, wonder if she is still a Cyborg fangirl like in flashpoint

Well he does need a love interest. And the changes to her body are almost as extreme as his so they should relate on that front.

Yeah I figured that, makes perfect sense. Just hope she is not a airhead like she was in flashpoint.

Going by the Free Comicbook Day issue looks like she will be fighting against Cyborg. So I'm not sure how much romance there will be.

Also Element Woman needs more development. Aside from her being a little ditzy all we really know is she is a female Metamorpho. And I'd rather this not turn into a Shift & Indigo romance with her and Cyborg

I really prefer Reis' Cyborg to how Lee draws him. Much more streamlined. Though I think it's kinda cool how different artists can have their own interpretations of Cyborg's armor. It allows for a little creative freedom and makes Cyborg unique. But serious, why the frak arnt they using the stylized C symbol on his chest?!? From a marketing standpoint you want to have a symbol that represents the character.

I've been wondering the same thing.

Though I think it's kinda cool how different artists can have their own interpretations of Cyborg's armor. It allows for a little creative freedom and makes Cyborg unique.

I think that the outer shell can shapeshift. Mostly because of the fact that the nanites injected to him shapeshifted to his needs.



It would be cool if he got a patch that gave him this look but with the blue light replaced by Cyborg's signature red light. It better ties him to the red room. I could see Silas giving it to him once he "gets" that Vic wants to be more human--not less. And I could see Vic wanting to keep some scars to remind him of who he is.




He could be a mechanical shapeshifter like the Engineer or he can do the modular armor thing like Iron Man.

I like this half face redesign. The human chin helps.



I also like this arm for one of Cyborg's arms. It's unique, and it looks rad.

As for Element Woman, I think that:
1)She will be the traitor (working for Waller and/or Graves) because of this: http://www.bleedingcool.com/forums/f...ague-grid.html
2)She and Cyborg will definitely have a Shift/Indigo relationship before he ends up in a relationship with Sarah Charles

The armor was pretty much like a skin graft. Half his face is cybornetic because there isn't actually any flesh and bone left. So the full face look wouldn't work. Which im fine with because the "Terminator" eye/face is kinda his trade mark.

Yeah, it was like a skin graft. But the metallic parts seem to have some fluidity to them. It would explain why his look changes from artist to artist.

If so;
1)Can you post Cyborg: His Time Has Come on youtube or leave a transcript of it here?
2)Can you screen capture the menu images of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Cyborg?

I have the combo edition, but I can't play bluray on my laptop. =(
So I only have these screen caps:

If I had a laptop with a blu ray drive, I would have uploaded it to youtube myself. So frustrating. When I get back to school, I'm going to see if our library has any computers with blu ray drives. lol
