I'd have read it if it said "Dan Didio talks about things people are actually interested in."
I will buy it if it has more Giffen than Didio.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
Another one.

Ahhh, crap, that's Simian, one of Darkseid's (often wayward) servants.
New God involvement = instant buy.

Pretty sweet looking art. I'll definitely check out the first issue.
Was one of the few who ever wanted to see an OMAC title. I think DiDio + Giffen is a pretty good team for launching such a title. I hope to see Scott Kolins attached one day or another to the project, and most of all, Morrison + Quitely, who IMHO are really the ones able to drive this whole Checkmate/Brother Eye thing completely awol (yes, proto-William Gibson stuff)...anyway, this will make me wait. Easily.
" Things are going to slide in all directions "
Leonard Cohen - The Future
This looks like my kind of comics!
I just can't wait for this, and I'll be with it 'til the end.
Im mostly interested to see how Checkmate and Brother Eye are at war. Doesnt Maxwell Lord control Brother Eye and the OMACs? The war is the most interesting part to me.
OMAC seems to be DC's version of the Hulk.
The Hulks is boring and repetitive. Hopefully this series is good and the character is interesting. Ill at least be picking up the first issue.
This book will only appeal to people who are fans of Kirby's art. Newsflash, it's not everyone's cup of tea. DC will find this out pretty quickly. Just because it's a Kirby creation doesn't mean you have to copy his style. If you want to revive the character to put your own spin on it that's all well and good but don't regugitate the man's style and call it an homage. It just show's a lack of creativity.
Giffen doing Kirbyesque madness is good.
Didio writing is bad.
......Giffen is co-writing, though, so maybe this has some hope in it.
But part of me really hopes Didio's recent statement of being cruel to and cancelling low-selling DCnU books includes OMAC if it's a failure.
That art looks SWEEEET!!! I will be giving this a try!
Current List: Batman, Batwing, Earth 2 GLC, JL, Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, NA, SA, UC Spider-Man, Hawkeye
Saga, Shadowman, Thief of Thieves, Walking Dead, X-O Manowar
I can see what they are going for here, but I don't think it will be my cup o' tea. I might change my mind if the reviews are good.
The "dark horse" book I'm looking forward to the most is Frankenstein.
