It was a great issue! I liked Krul's run (so far) but I really really enjoyed this. Nice to have Ollie back on the streets. The forest was losing its luster for me towards the end there. A bit too much magical stuff too.

James' take on Ollie was great. I hope he can do more with him later.

Yeah so did I. I thought Krul was still writing this volume for at least one more issue but was a enjoyable read. I guess I'll be reading till #15 and the relaunch.

If James Patrick was writing the relaunch, I would pick it up.

    This was wonderful.

    Krul's run...was not.

Haven't read it yet, but I am looking forward to it. Honestly, it can only be an improvement to Krul's last 12 issues. Man, how am I yearning for a good GA-story! It nearly hurts.

    Great job!
Your story is terrifically paced, James. Feels like a punchy action-er with grit and moves along like a car chase!... which, in many ways it is.

Love your work by the way. Enjoying the hell out of Mystery Men, loved those Thor one shots you did quite a ways back now. I know you're pretty big on 'co creating' rather than just 'penciling' your work, so I had hoped with DC's push to get more artists co-plotting or solo writing you would have landed on something over there.

    Thanks.
Lots of work in the pipeline. But who knows. DC has wonderful characters and very talented creators.

Really? Comic work? I don't mean to push for specifics, it's just you haven't had a great bulk of comics work out in a while I think (which is part of why I was thrilled with the Mystery Men announcement!).

Loved his first issue. I was telling everyone at my LCS about it. Great interview. While I didn't agree with some things he thought about Ollie in the interview, his first issue was really good. Looking forward to the next 2.

I'll miss the semi magic take on Green Arrow, but am willing to give this a shot.
