    Haven't read any of these but am picking up cheap used copies (not that Geary doesn't deserve my money; I just don't have much of it) as not only a comics devotee but also a connoisseur of historical crime. Only thing I have of his the Leon Trotsky bio, I believe. (The fact that I keep confusing him with Rick Veitch probably doesn't help, of course.)

    I think I'll go ahead & pre-order this one, though. I've been floating around anarchist circles for 3-odd decades & have known about the case since forever, & besides I just got through watching a recent-ish documentary on the case that proved to be downright fascinating.
    I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
    Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.
