Have to say, Sam and Max is glaringly too far down that list.
You put X-men rise of the apocalypse but no Marvel ultimate alliance?
That's just weird.
In a bad way![]()
That's like saying if all the porn was made by my grandma I would be able to sustain a real relationship.
(and I can't)
I can't believe Superman 64 or Spawn Armageddon never made the list
The voice acting for Spider-Man 2 was praised? Shattered Dimensions is the best voice acted Spidey game out there. Tobey sounded bored most of the time in SM2.
Freedom Force was so good.
Nothing's gonna happen without a warning
HA! The only ones I've really played are 1 & 10! TMNT & Arkham Asylum. Fantastic games.
Though Spidey had a horrible voice and the frame rate was shot to hell till you downloaded a patch, surely Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is the best Spider-Man game around.

I even thought that Ultimate Spiderman was better than Spiderman 2. They did have the number 1 pic right with Arkham Asylum.
Wanted: Weapons of Fate was pretty fun. But that's more of a video game based off of a movie, considering the comic book is completely different than the movie.
I'm glad to see Freedom Force is getting some recognition. It's too bad we won't ever get a 3rd game in the series.
I don't agree with Sam and Max being on the list, I really don't think the gameplay is anything special. The humor in it was nice, but that's about it.

A woman can move a lot faster with her skirt up than a man can with his pants down.
Great list.
Comments:
1. Batman AA is possibly my favorite game ever and it completely deserves the #1 spot. CANT WAIT FOR ARKHAM CITY!
2. I love MVC2 and its ridiculous roster of characters, but don't forget to check out MVC3 if you haven't. The gorgeous character models and their animations/cheesy voice acting alone make it worth checking out even if you aren't into fighting games.
3. I bought Spidey 2 the morning it came out and beat it that afternoon. I really enjoyed it, the despite a few glitches and annoying fighting mechanics. I have since bought every console spidey game available, and I have to say that Spider-man Web of Shadows is the best there is. If you are in to playing as your favorite web slinger, that's where I would start. Then move on to ultimate, spidey1, spidey2, and shattered dimensions, all of which bring something fun and unique.
4. Hulk Ultimate Destruction is a gem for comic game nerds like myself and I am still praying for a next gen sequel. There's nothing like surfing a bus into a giant robot to blow off some excess steam. If you are looking for more games like HUD, Prototype seems to be a spiritual successor to it; the controls are strikingly similar and there are many fighting/travel mechanics that they share.
6. X-men Legends 2...GREAT arcade style game with a diverse cast, amazing cgi, fun gameplay, and loads of bonus missions and content. X-men fans please do yourself a favor and go back and play through X-men legends, then x-men legends 2, then if you want, play the two Marvel Ultimate Alliance games. I personally feel like x-men legends (1) was the more memorable experience, but you can't go wrong with either.
7. I've played a fair amount of city of heroes, and the character creator alone is probably worth the money. But to me, the world feels unpolished and the gameplay is lacking in diversity, especially for as long as it's been around. It really leaves it up to the player to make their own fun with it. Champions Online is a step in the right direction, but I think that a game developer needs to attempt a solid customizable Super Hero RPG that isn't an MMO (but I'll save that rant for another time).
10. I have very fond memories of playing TMNT:TIT and I'm very pleased to see that it made the list.
The Batman Begins video game deserves to be on here or at least close.
Also Spider-man enter Electro really really should be on here more than Spider-man the movie.
