I've been thinking about the bump up in page count. Amazon lists it at 688 pages, which is just about enough for Geoff Johns' 25 issue run, plus the three JSA/Black Reign issues. If the page count is accurate, that would be DC's largest Omnibus in a while. Hopefully they'll use stitch binding so that it can be read properly.

Anyone know if the DC Hardcover for all 52 #1 issues will be oversized or standard size? It is already solicited in the latest Previews but there is no mention of the book size.

Deluxe Wildstorm - SWEET! There are no solid high quality reprints of that stuff. I'll go all-in on buying that.

As for the Morrison Batman stuff, how close is that to the beginning of his run on Batman? It seems like there's earlier stuff that hasn't been deluxed yet, but I suppose this run is what sold out the fastest.

Yeah they began deluxe editions with R.I.P so they putted Batman and Son and Black Gloves now into 1 big Hardcover. Thanks for the links! I pre-ordered the 2nd Flash Omnibus, i digged the 1st Omnibus but it was really about the villains being amazing, they really overshadowed Flash for me, tho Johns had given him rather cliché supporting cop characters, but i digged the married man angle they had for Wally.

Welcome to the thread, and thanks for bringing gifts

The page counts of those books is definitely a sign that Dan Didio meant it when he said omnibuses would be more omnibus"ey". And fingers crossed that StormWatch will be an oversized book as well.

Is this the beginning of a Morrison Batman Omnibus that will continue or is this just a deluxe edition of the two stories that were missed out on?

I did notice that they all seemed to have pretty mega page counts compared to other DC stuff.

Also, did you note the creative team they have listed for StormWatch? It's Ellis, which (I think) means that it won't be the original 1993 run.

Thanks for welcoming me! I'm from Brazil, but love all those collected editions you guys have there. Spend a bunch with them, to be honest...

(by the way, I'm sorry for any mistake. Still improving my english)

Quick question: does anybody know it there will be a third volume for Tom Strong Deluxe?? I've been waiting for that for more than a year, but nothing so far...

Does anybody know if this is oversized or simply a standard sized hardcover? I hope standard sized the oversized look akward on my shelf.
