I think I still have the first 2 or 3 floppies of Stormwatch from when they originally came out somewhere. Gave up on it because like most of the Image stuff back then it was style over substance.

The only books I read were Wildcats and Supreme - but only when (and because) Moore wrote them.

Overall I have to say though that Ellis' Stormwatch certainly beats Moore's Wildcats (Moore's Supreme to me is the best book out of the three). The only thing better about Wildcats is the art - Travis Charest.

I bought the trades back in the fall. Really wish SW was oversized so I'd have a good enough reason to upgrade....

I loved those editions. It's a shame that the One Million Event was not included in the third hardcover, only the JLA tie-in.
I thought I'd heard the JLA Deluxe TPBs are going to reprint issues the HCs skipped, like those written by Millar. Is that still the case?

There's nothing wrong with perpetual boners.

I've been told that anything over 4 hours is a health risk.

    More good news from DC.

It seems they have finally gotten their act together regarding the HC binding.

Here is another one of those clips done by the guy who compares Marvel to DC HCs. This time it's the "Jack Kirby's Spirit World" HC:

For a book that size, I think the binding (and paper!!!) looks even better than Marvel (just compare Schism or other Marvel OHCs of a similar page count).

I ordered the Infinite Crisis Omnibus after I watched that video :) from book depository (who still have a few days left on their additional 10% off everything deal).

Hopefully it has even better binding than New Teen Titans vol 2? It's got almost 300 more pages

What else I really like about that is that the cover is a gloss wraparound, right onto the cover boards themselves (I think it's called casewrapping). I know it sounds a little petty, but I'd prefer that and no dustjacket to having a dustjacket covering really bland, non-inked hardcovers. DC already use casewrapping with no lettering or cover copy underneath a dustjacket on some of their Vertigo stuff (Fables, Flex Mentallo), so it's something they already know how to do. I'm all for dropping the dustjacket and following the example set by Spirit World.
My comic collection. Go on, have a look. You know you want to .

I find DJ's pretty useless, prefer the way Image & Dark Horse do their hc's
