Had 100 bullets Deluxe v2 turn up today along with Sleeper Season 2. The Deluxe is a really nice book, especially the Dust-jacket design. Flicked through the book and the paper and colouring looked pretty amazing, really popped. Can't wait to read it.

The Titan version of the New Teen Titans Omni Vol. 2 is 40% off at BD.co.uk.

Take away the 10% discount, you'll get the book for 36 EUR shipped. Not bad.

They also have the Flash by Johns Omni (DC version) for 49 EUR (-10% = 44 EUR).

Thanks for the heads up on NTT2. That was just the price I was waiting for. Now if only volume 1 would drop to that price too :)

The list price for stormwatch is 30 dollars, they put it as a 40 dollars book. It is a price mistake but not in the good way.

Sorry about that. Didn't know, but makes sense.

It's not even oversized, is it?

Nope. There were a number of sites listing it as $40 retail, but it is, in fact $30. While the discount isn't too steep on vol 1 on Amazon, vol 2 is 46% off on the preorder, a much better value.

Birds of Prey by Simone, Benes, and Scott (#56-108)
Gen 13 by Jim Lee, Brandon Choi, and J. Scott Campbell (#0-5 of the 1994 series, plus roughly #1-20 of the ongoing)
Wildcats Covert Action Teams by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi (#0-13)
Wonder Woman by Mike Deodato and William Messner-Loebs (#90-100, plus the 6 issue Artemis mini-series with Ed Benes)
    That's already planned.

    Quick Question:

Does the Fourth World Omnibus TPB's use the same paper stock as the Hardcover volumes? I figured since I like the paper and the HC are hard to find, I would just get the TPB as long as they are similiar.

My vote for Omni would be:
    - Knightfall. But instead, when they repackage and reissue it, it they go down the rubbish newsprint format. Utterly embarassing
    - No Man's Land. Be nice if they had did HC Omnis for these.
    - Swamp Thing omnibus
    - Brubaker Cat Woman

Thats all that comes to my mind at the moment.

    I can't understand DC

    ^ ^ ^

I'd be surprised if they released a Swamp Thing omnibus so soon after the Moore hardcovers (assuming that would be the only era worthy of an omnibus). Not that I wouldn't double-dip if they did.

On that note, if they don't ever release an omnibus, they should at least continue with hardcovers and complete vol. 2. There were definitely some low points in each of the runs that followed Moore's, but overall it was a great series that remains largely uncollected.

Yikes, I just peeked at the stretched image from the Teen Titans Omnibus. That is inexcusable! It changes faces, proportions of layout, logos, lettering - eek! I can't imagine a world where I would be allowed to approve something like that for print at my job, and a designer would never do it in the first place.

Honestly, I would return the book to Amazon for that and the missing #38. I'd rather have my own bind that some poorly planned piece of crap from DC.

Apparently this mistake is a carry over from the Archive (?) edition. Honestly, the "legs" page is the only one I would have noticed without comparison and it's only a handful (4?) of pages so I can live with it.

Also, someone said that 38 was confirmed for volume 3 (though I'm not sure where that came from) so that is also fine with me. Could it have been done better? Yes. Is it a deal breaker? Not for me.
