Don't the Swamp Things HCs have terrible paper? I was gonna order some during the B&N sale but after doing some research (and looking at one on b&n store) I've decided to wait for the eventual omni/deluxe.

The paper isn't the greatest, but I've decided I like it after a few reads. It fits the tone of the stories (if that makes sense), and the old school colors would look horrible on modern glossy paper. So unless they decide to go all out and recolor each volume, I'm fine with what we got.

Yeah I get that its appropriate for those stories but to me its just the worst kind of paper. i dont need glossy but they couldve at least used the matte paper used in the Y deluxes.
