I like Ralph, not too familiar with the others. Well, I knew Renee during her Gotham days
How would you rank it against the IC omni?

Better. 52 is phenomenal. Giffen, Johns, Morrison, Rucka, Waid. You really can't get better than that.

Why would they be glued? DC has never had a glued absolute. Ever.

DC Absolute's are always sewn. DC making them glued would be a change akin to Kobe passing the ball.

Yeah it was much smoother than IC and should be considered the blue print for how superstar writers get together and put out a comic. I think the crew - while they are all talented - that worked on Avengers Vs. X-Men should take some notes.

I haven't read Avengers vs. X-Men, but wasn't it received poorly critically? I mean, obviously that would succeed commercially though.

And IC, oh noes, Earth 2 Superman! How could you?

I don't have the absolute justice, so I can't comment. However, my absolute sandman 2 and 3 are sewn and holding up fabulously, as are 1,4,5 and the rest of my absolutes. Even my first print absolute hush from 2005. Have there been production errors for some books? Probably, but I've yet to have an issue with any of my absolutes

Do I remember correctly that you said you have 30 Absolutes?

34 absolutes or absolute type books as of now, 18 of which are DC/Vertigo books.

It should be the blue print for multiple writer books, weekly series, and superhero stories in general!

Impressive. I hope to come somewhere near that, one day!
@TomSlick, just realize I misread your post, you were actually saying that AvX's crew could take notes, not be the basis of which notes are taken, my bad on that one.

52 is probably my favorite DC "event." (in that it was the collaborative product of many creators, had a set course to run, though maybe it's not a typical "event")

It's been a little while since I've read IC, but I do remember enjoying it immensely. 52 though...man it's just perfect. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about it. 4 writers coming together, all weaving individual threads, making one beautiful comic together. When the pieces start falling into place...wow.
