Haha yeah, I know what you mean!

They really are pricy for someone with no real income like me, so Im trying to be wise with my purchases. This was the only absolute that felt worth getting since its my favorite GL story.
I would like to have Blackest Night in Absolute, but as I hear it will only collect BN 0-8, so I dont think thats gonna happen...
There is still a lot of books to collect with money I dont have :D

Can anyone post some pics of the new Hardcover of Batman Judge Dredd Collection?

I'm probably buying it as one of my Christmas presents to myself!

Nice, I read mine the other day and mostly enjoyed it. The battles were somewhat overwhelming at times, with massive double page spreads of punching. Dat Art!

The thing is with amazon.com is that I have to pay import duties, which defeats the purpose of ordering through them. With BD I find that they usually have books discounted to 25/6% the moment they get it in stock. It's a bit of a hassle to keep up with that, but it is still worth checking out their site. They usually have books in stock a couple days before release date.

Can anybody tell me why Superman: Secret Origin (The Deluxe Edition) had such a limited print run? I wasn't even particlularly interested in it, but it strikes me as odd.

It doesn't. You can buy it in any online retail store. Or are you referring to Red Son? Because that is OOP.

Oh, okay. Amazon is the only site I order from, and on there it's listed as "Out of Print - Limited Availability". I'll have a look at a couple of other sites. Cheers.

I stumbled on the Deluxe Red Son a couple of years ago at my LCS. Was very pleased. :D
