    Some Hawkman pics:

Just got it today so I haven't gotten a chance to really dive in, but I liked Morales' art on the first flip through and production wise it seems nicer than the first Flash omni.

was hoping Spaceman would get a Deluxe HC to match my Joe the Barbarian, read Spaceman #1 and liked it enough to want the OHC.
Currently recommending: Daredevil, Mudman ( it's back!), Hawkguy, and FF. Can't miss!

I could have sworn I did that already! Oh, the downfall of too many tabs.

And you're welcome. Thank God DC keep things easy to follow, especially on their website. I couldn't hack it if I was trying to do this for Marvel!

Looks great, thanks for the pics!

I wonder what a vol. 2 would contain? More of this series? Classic stuff?

It's really good. I read my friend's 4 softcovers and i'm glad i waited for this Omnibus lol.

You get a story about Steel and his niece, you get BLACK ADAM and Isis! You get an island full of super villian scientists, you get Clark kent the reporter, Booster Gold the hero, Starfire, Animal Man, Lex Luthor and just so many stories.

It's also the introduction of Rucka's Batwoman, but she isn't as badass as she was in her reintroduction that made her popular in the 1st place.

Thanks for sharing. So that means it's definitely glued. It looks like there isn't a whole lot lost in the gutter, since there are black borders around the panels? Hopefully you can confirm. Thanks :)

I am assuming that Superman book is similar to the Legends of the Batman. Have there been earlier ones...cause Gil Kane before Curt Swan?
Banned once...and still pissed about it. Well, okay...more like annoyed about it.

Yep, there's about a 1/4 " black border. I'm not the pickiest person in the world but flipping through the middle of the book it didn't seem like it was going to be a chore to read.

I don't know but I'm hoping for a Johns' Superman omni soon myself. Heck they might as well get started on the Johns' GL omnis too since the guy is never gonna leave the title.

BTW, I got my Hawkman from instocktrades. Very impressed with their packaging, could've survived nuclear holocaust.

According to Amazon the deluxe edition has 40 pages less.
And of course the prestige, you won't get that with just a measly deluxe...
    and oversized art and slipcover.
