Just finished Absolute Watchmen- extras and all that too.
    Awesome...

But... I have a question: In the end there's only one french cover in my absolute edition:

It's the first one of Rorschach- are there supposed to be more included or am I just being paranoid?

Mine has the Rorschach only as well. Got a fifth print, dunno if that would make a difference

Quick question - do any non-Absolute DC HCs come shrinkwrapped? All of them?

I just picked up Killing Joke on sale and it isn't wrapped, has a few nicks in the DJ. Trying to decide if it's worth the trouble to return it; if they're all unwrapped I probably got off relatively easy in the damage department.

    Thanks.

Mine came in shrinkwrap and some special cardboard like box that fitted the book perfectly- it had two halfs that you could open separately and in the middle there was the shrinkwrapped book. Btw inside the shrinkwrap on the back of the slipcase was a little piece of paper- some general info about the book and stuff like that.

I think DC only shrinkwrap anything with a cover price of $50 or more. I've seen $30 and $40 books unwrapped in my LCS so it's definitely in or around that price point.

That only kicked in last year though. Killing Joke was released before that so it might be an issue with the shop instead of the publisher.

So how bad is the binding on the New Teen Titans omnibus? From earlier posts, it sounds like the book is a real pain to keep open. Is it any more difficult to read than other omnibi (personally, I don't have a problem with the Walt Simonson Thor one, it just gets heavy after a while)?

The binding is tighter and the paper is stiffer than the Thor Omnibus you mention. That being said, it's 100% readable.

Thanks for the feedback! The way some people have talked about this, the book is damn near unreadable.

I don't know if this has be asked or answered, but has there been a Seth Fisher collection released. I'd love his Batman Snow, Green Lantern WillWorld, and Flash stories all in one hardcover.
SUPER CRAZY ANIMAL HAND! is coming... now with MIKE ALLRED cover!

    Amazon.com (US) says March 13, 2012.
This collection includes new introductions by Miller and Mazzucchelli, loads of reproductions of original pencils, promotional art, unseen Mazzucchelli Batman art, Richmond Lewis's color samples, script pages and other surprises.
I wonder if its worth getting this, since i already have the 1st deluxe edition, is this just a reprint with a few extras that the 1st print didnt have?
Marvel: ASM, Deadpool, Thor, Iron Man, etc
DC: Batman and related, Green Lantern, The Flash, etc
Omnibus wishlist: Classic Deadpool, Pak Hulk, Spider-Man 2099

heres the amazon.com listing. you may be able to find it on ebay cheaper too. its from 2005, so its probably Out of Print which is why prices are high. and the one coming out in march may coincide with the direct to dvd year one as well, so they are reprinting it.
