For as Stark as Tony is sometimes he seems a little too oblivious about certain Things, thats why I really appreciate Cap and BP in this show they can really speak for the audience, statign the obvious stuff the viewer is already aware off but other characters seem ridiculously clueless about.

BP and Mr. Fantastic are smart enough to respect Doom and no he wouldn't have attacked without a good reason. While Stark and the Human Torch didn't really understand.

If this fantastic four share continuity with the fantastic four of FF:WGH then it stands to reason that almost all of the Avengers have previously met the FF. This means Hulk and Think have already faught. Hulk could totally be just messing with the Think.

Of course mind you this is all in my head and i have no evidence to prove this idea, so you know...whatever..
    you make some interesting observations.

I like the animation on USM, but the story and the breaking of the 4th wall just takes me out of the show.
I love Avengers, but the animation so freakin horrid.

I really hate that I don't have Disney XD to watch either Avengers: EMH or USM right now. :(

Oh, God, I hope that's not true.
Who are the "big four" anyway? I know Marvel harps on their on "trinity" but who's the Fourth Man (heh, little Planetary at ya)?

Edit: Nevermind. I forgot the Hulk.

Funny that Doom was the only one who had a clue.
Also I loved Hulk and Thing's rivalry.

Found the interview with Josh Fine.

    Most pertinent bits;

We got a little past halfway through scripting the season when a few things happened at once. The first was that both writing and production were starting to slip a bit behind schedule (not abnormal for a show of this scope, but not desirable all the same), the second was that Chris was offered a tremendous opportunity to join the Marvel writer’s program for the feature film division, and we started exploring ways to transition him off the series to free him up. The above two things caused a period of increased scrutiny on the show and the feeling arose that the storytelling was leaning a bit too much in the serial direction—that it might be growing too hard to follow for anyone who hadn’t seen the first 39 episodes—and that the focus was drifting too much from the 'big four' Avengers (Iron Man, Cap, Thor, and Hulk.) Jeph Loeb, who had recently joined as head of TV for us suggested bringing in [the Development/ Production team] Man of Action to help solve a bunch of these issues.
Chris and I remained involved in the planning process, but credit really goes to Jeph and MoA for crafting the new road-map for those 13 episodes and for bringing renewed focus to the 'big four' in more one-and-done style stories.

What is this new costume with BP you guys are talking about? I think I missed that interview or whatever...

Does anyone know the DVD plans for this season? Are they going to break it up into fours again to bleed me of all my money?

It used to pop up on YouTube for less than a day before tos took it down. Try a google search with the option to only show videos from the past 24hours.

I was in the same boat when I had Comcast. Comcast makes you go up an extra tier before you get the xd channel, but Disney could be charging more than the channel is worth in Comcast eyes to keep it on a lower tier.

If Disney was interested in expanding their reach to boys, I don't understand why ultimate doesn't show up on the regular Disney which reaches more houses.

Well the good is, Man of Action. They're not a bad development group and have found great success with their properties.

The downside is the idea that the focus needs to be on the big four. Platforms like the Avengers cartoon should be used to catapult other characters that aren't already big names. Considering how well the creators have been doing with BP, Wasp, Ant-man and Hawkeye, it's very disappointing.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

    Season one is on Netflix.

I figure the new episodes have have to show up there at some point.

I just don't know when they start adding new shows.

A friend had me watch Generator Rex which is one of their productions, and I enjoyed it quite a bit - however, I think that even if the latter 13 episodes are fun enough, the fact that they're no longer continuing the well-crafted linking story of the previous 39 means they'll be disappointing, because of the lost potential. On top of that; I really just don't care for the 'big four'; I'm far more interested in the people around them.

Did we really need Quake and Winter Soldier they were not necessary on this show.

I have mixed feelings on Wolverine.

Also why do we have Bald Cage now, the man should still have a full head of hair

Yeah he had to be on the show. Cap changed the world and got his wish. I hope he starts out as evil because it will be a better story having him as a bad guy first.

We dont know what episode this takes place in so it could happen this episode or halfway thru the season or at end so how some of these characters seen here would appear later.
Yeah it would have been better if they did that, just to give marvel their own animated world.

Its very much in line with what what MOA does with all of their shows.
