Issue 12 was pretty sweet. A good way to end the first year of the new turtles. I myself am happy to see a new artist come to the book, I hope it proves to be better then Duncan. Also have you guys seen the TMNT Annual? All the art is being done by Eastman! That's a must buy for sure. Here is a pic of it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

My 2013 1000 comic progress
My copy of Ultimate collection vol 3 arrived. In perfect condition this time.
My Ultimate TMNT vol. 3 came in this weekend and looks good like the others. I do wish the numbers on the side were all consistent. Why make the first volume with a rd lettered number one and the other two volumes have white lettering for the number on the spine?

I was under the impression that Mirage still retained the rights to the Fugitoid, and that's why the Ultimate Collections omitted the Mirage Fugitoid one-shot. But if IDW is doing a Fugitoid one-shot then they must have the rights, which makes me wonder why Fugitoid #1 was omitted from the Ultimate Collection.
I'm pretty sure when Nickelodeon bought the turtles they bought the rights to all the turtle content, including Fugitoid.

Laird said Viacom also got the good professor because he is so intertwined with the Turtles.
The reason his solo outing was not featured in the Ultimate Collection is because the events of the comic were recapped quite well in TMNT #5, although Fugitoid is an Eastman/Laird comic.
Anyone else picking up and enjoying the Color classics reprints?

I thought it was a bit amateurish too, but the feel of it reminds me of coloring from the 80s.

Everyone still getting this and the micro series?
Read issue #13 and really enjoyed how this felt like the first "family" issue. Each turtle unwinding after the events with Shredder and how it tied back into the Casey micro from the month before.
Read April micro #7 and that was also a great read. Is this perhaps a first appearance in this series by Tokka?
