I wanted to make a topic and keep it bumped as we go along with IDW's upcoming series.

For one, who all here is excited for the new book?

Did anyone catch the synopsis for the first issue? Apparently one of the Turtles is abducted or otherwise separated from the team in #2.

Also, who knows which Daredevil cover does Fred Hembeck parody with his cover?

If your referring to the hardback coming out this summer its caught my eye. Little pricey and I Haven't read a TMNT comic since the 80s but I plan on at the minimum checking out the first couple of the new series.

I meant the new series from IDW, but also includes ALL the new material coming out.

By the way, Amazon has the hardcover available for pre-order for about $32.

Kevin Eastman is also reprinting his "TMNT 25th" collection with four new covers, one by Simon Bisley, Mark Bode, Fabry, and Corben. The Fabry and Bisley covers is new, the other two is old artwork. The new collection also includes an 8 page cover gallery and is 19.95.

Personally, I'd give a new series 5 issues to let the new team get their footing and see what the arc is leading up to before bailing. Hopefully the series will get regular trades as well though so that folks who don't jump on the singles will pick up the trades.

I have my IDW hardcover preordered with Amazon and can't wait for the new ongoing series to start up. Hopefully we'll get to see something nifty at SDCC for the new show on Nick.

Amazon has a good discount on it. Ive preordered it for practically nothing thanks to gift cards I got from doing surveys.

I am a little fired up about this. I even dusted off the old TMNT and Other Strangeness, I might see about getting some friends together to rattle some dice around.
