The only thing that I have to complain about with respect to Comixology is that I can't find a mechanism for requesting new titles to be added. I think Marvel would benefit a lot from knowing fans' opinions on which specific books/series should be digitized, and not just add them piecemeal of their own accord. For example, I really want them to add more issues of Alpha Flight. I asked Comixology, and they said to speak to Marvel, and every time I've reached out to Marvel: nothing.

Also, quick question: does anybody's Local Comic Shop have a Comixology storefront? I've spoken to every LCS in my city, plus the big ones in Toronto, and none of them do. I've convinced my LCS owner (who I'm happy to be on a first-name basis with ) to get one, but they're like a year from launching. I would like very much for a comic store owner to get a piece of the pie when I buy digital comics. So does anyone here shop at a store that has a Comixology storefront?
No, but I buy codes online and always put in the store I most want to support as the place where I bought the comic.

If you are a comixology subscriber you can buy a bunch f marvel now titles for half off: avengers 1-6, new avengers 1-5, guardians of the galaxy 1-2 and iron man 1-8. you just have to enter the code membermay Not a bad deal. Those without accounts can feel free to try the code and see if it works for them.

Who do you email directly, `cause I've got a bone to pick with their sh*tty releases on the Hulk; the original six issues, and #340. WOOP-DEE-DOO! Oh wait, they released #449 (Thunderbolts) and #336 & 337 (X-Factor)...good grief, that's lame!

My LCS sends out a weekly newsletter and asked about digital comics as well. Don't know if the response was positive or negative, though...

Does anyone have a good explanation as to why MCDU app just randomly skips certain issues in more current material? I find it incredibly annoying and the type of thing that really makes me hesitant to re-up when my subscription is done. I even dropped them an email about it but they were less than helpful. If its to try to make me go out to purchase the material, that kind of defeats the purpose for me. I'm willing to wait to read stuff (hence why this was a good option for me), but if they're just going to leave gaps I'm never going to get to finish storylines (or get caught up without buying the missing issues). I understand they're back filling the older stuff slowly because they have to digitize it, but what is with them skipping issues from the new stuff. There's no reason to not just go in order.

Can this be done through the app or is it a website-only promotion?

I don't know, but guess what Marvel put on-line just now?

Amazing Spider-Man #400. Yes, the death of Aunt May issue. It's part of the run from #395 to #420 (just missing a few issues between #412 and #420) at http://marvel.com/comics/unlimited?l...&totalcount=62

I'm assuming marvel just picks random sets of issues to add on Tuesdays then collections on Thursdays of issues that are already out in singles. But I love love love their sales! I got the entire civil war run and tie ins when they had them all for .99, well worth it! Their sales twice a week are incredible and has gotten me to read so many series I'd otherwise pass up. I honestly wish DC would have more sales but they are rare, I did get identity crisis for .99 and I know last Black Friday they did blackest night and all the tie ins so I hope that comes back so I can sweep those all up! I'm waiting for the Dark Reign mini series,to be added on comixology because even though I have marvel unlimited the bugs, missing speech bubbles and sometimes blacked out speech bubbles are just too much to handle! I've run out of space for any more physical comics so I only buy digital now, except the Season One marvels because I think the physical graphic novel and the digital code is well worth the price! My collection has grown to well over 6000 comics I'm embarrassed to say digitally but it's opened me up to alot more comics and great experiences so yay comixology!

The website has a Contact Us function. I've used it twice, and no word of a lie someone got back to me quickly.

They've also been good at responding to tweets. I remember when the Marvel #1s thing shut them down, and they replied to pretty much every person who tweeted them with questions.

On another note: the last six issues of Uncanny X-Force just dropped in price! YAY!

I have a major complaint with MCDU that I have sent multiple emails to them about, but have not heard back yet. I'd like to know if others experience the same problems. Usually when I go to read a comic I have a 70/30 chance of it actually loading, but it got worse to the point that they just stopped loading. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and the comics have been opening much easier now which is great, however now when I click on "browse", it seems as if an incredibly large amount of titles have completely disappeared. For example, I just recently read "Avengers: The Children's Crusade" and now that is not even in the "browse" section, it seems as if half the Avengers titles have disappeared. However, if I go into my library, I can find issues of the Children's Crusade that I had saved. I can open the rest of the issues through my library, but it's not in the "browse" section any longer, and it seems like a HUGE amount of titles just won't show up so I have no idea how many titles I'm actually missing out on. I feel the yearly subscription was a great price to pay, but not like this. Anyone else have problems like this? If so, were you able to fix them somehow? Thanks!
