I have a feeling it's Comixology not having their ducks in a row. I've noticed hiccups in their system maybe 6 times in the last 4 months, and I buy from them every Wednesday.
I write comic book reviews every Wednesday using pages from each book. Check it: Is It Good?: All the Best Books of the Day Reviewed!
something weird happened. i don't know how many times i have been told by comixology that marvel books bought on their site don't synch back to the marvel app... however, i just purchased the captain america 1-50 run on the comixology website, and i opened my marvel app and they were there! i sent an email to comixology asking if they were able to sync all of my marvel books back to the marvel app... we shall see!
stupid marvel app... AvX#3 is stuck on "PURCHASING" won't let be stop it or re-start. In the meantime I purchased Avengers Academy...normally. wth?
Has anyone seen new Ennis FURY book available digitally?
its not there
it was a store week for me so i just picked it up
Drat!
Thanks though FR. I was hoping to grab it over lunch. Oh well, will have to make a trip to the LCBS this week. It's gonna be a madhouse on Saturday over there.
I noticed this morning that the Spider-Island issues of ASM have dropped from 3.99 to 1.99. Does this mean that Marvel's day and date digital stuff does eventually price drop--and 50% at that?!

I could be wrong, but I don't think the MAX comics are available on a digital platform. I know they're not getting the digital codes, and I haven't seen any of them on the app or digital store either.
They started that back in mid March, and so far it seems to be a pick and choose kind of thing. It's usually about 20 comics every week, not necessarily all from the release date or month. But so far it's not a limited time thing either, i.e. the first books that dropped in price are still at $1.99 now.
Also, the price drop isn't 50%, it's a drop to $1.99 regardless of being $2.99, $3.99 or even $4.99 (e.g. Fear Itself #7 was listed with a $4.99 cover price and is now $1.99).
My comic collection. Go on, have a look. You know you want to.

Yes, a lot of back issues drop to that price. It seems to be kind of randomly selected right now as far as which and when though. The uncanny x-force books are available at that price until the most recent arc I believe. And of course Marvel has weekly sales too for 99 cents and/or 50% off for titles.
there have been several lines of books that go 1.99..
seems like they will group togather a few different books into a semi related colection (like sider island) and drop the price on them all to 1.99 and call it the marvel mania sale.
right now cap 1-5 of this new volume, fear itself 1-7.3 are at 1.99
they definitely started doing that very quietly
Thanks for the info, guys.
I hate the idea of a comic staying cover price on comixology for all eternity, so it's nice to see the drop, even if there's not a consistent policy.

I have been living under a rock for the past few years and am just catching up with the world of comics again. I was just wondering if any knew whether Marvel had any plans to release Alpha Flight as a digital? Particularly the 2011-12 run, but anything earlier would be great too....
The only AF digital comics I've seen are at Marvel.com.
