No Android Offering is bad. I have a Android phone and was thinking of getting the Tab 10.1. I was hoping this panel would announce an android offering as I have no lCS.

Also only the Ultimate titles and Spiderman titles are getting the same day digital.

Looks like DC is getting all my money this year.

Here is a chance for Marvel to finally be a step ahead of DC. They should release their day and date digitals at a cheaper price.

Extremely unlikely. I think Marvel is even less willing to piss off the direct marketeers than DC is.

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

It would be funny if they did because that is another thing they slammed DC about that they go end up doing anyway.

THey slammed DC for going day/date?? Odd considering they've been doing it for months now for some of their titles.

Bendis said "All retailers are fucked in the ass" or something like that.

The Bendis comment was pretty over the top, I thought, but I don't recall anyone else from Marvel slamming DC.

No storage issues, for one thing. I can't lose them, they stay in mint condition, and they're immediately accessible wherever I am, on my iPad and iPhone.

I don't think so. I buy digital comics directly from Marvel at chrome.marvel.com and on their IOS app. I don't think Disney will be going out of business soon, or that they would renege on their purchases while the company is still in the business of selling digital content.

Just as legal as TiVO or old VCR recordings.

No thank you. Too much hassle. I'd rather just buy a clean digital copy and start reading it in seconds, and store it in the cloud.

On a practical level, my problem is they're going same day digital on Amazing Spider-Man before releasing Big Time.

I expect them to release all the books to get up to date, last week they released all parts of Grim Hunt.

I only buy digital now, i don't have time nor access to go to a store anymore so downloading is the way forward on my iPhone or iPad.

Been waiting for Spiderman to join the same day digitals, means my itunes account is going to take a beating

It's also great reading books i missed as a kid.

If they do go Same Day Digital ('Day and Date' is an illogical meaningless term) it will now only be to play catch up with DC.

    Again.

I have seen Marvel go through several iterations of an online digital comic reader over the last decade and for them to disable their prior version. I would not put it past them to do it again. But hey, go ahead and rent if you want to. I'd rather use one of my 2TB hard drives and store the files myself. Like I do for all the Gitcorp DVDs I bought while they were around. 40+ years of Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, and Uncanny X-Men all at my fingertips. Got each of them for around $30 apiece when they were still in production.

    I support this 100%.

My LCS is miles from where i live and i know for a fact that a lot of people are looking for comics to buy can not find.

For those of us with ipads (and other devices) this is excellent news.
