Hey guys,
Here are a couple of sketches I sent to the editors for approval and after a lot of editing we narrowed down to a single image. The idea of the cover is to show this two main villains in a larger than life posing but also reflecting some type of alliance between them.
I was happy with the final result and I think I achieve the final idea

Those are all awesome, my favorite is the third one on the right side on the top row. Very nicely done man.
1) Find a bad guy
2) Be Wolverine

I LOVE this cover. Even if the story will probably tick me off, the cover is beautiful and powerful, and features two of my favorite characters. Excellent art work!

I love the one you went with, and the coloring is fantastic on it. The way you've emphasized the number 2 of various ways is also slick.

thats actually a poster worthy cover. tell them to make posters cus that will probably sell.

The Doom pose in the final cover reminds me of a scene from the What If where he kept the Beyonder's power.

I like them a lot. The 3rd and 5th ones seem the best to me. They ooze regal-powerful-madmen. I love them the best.

I like it! The idea of a story involving Magneto and Dr. Doom just makes so much sense. You get the feeling that these are two characters who would be Facebook friends in real life, or at least share a cell in a prison.
I hope it helps keep adjectiveless X-men fresh. Chris Yost has done a great job of injecting new life into the book. I hope it continues after First to Last is done.
