Great interview, as I did enjoy seeing how Liu examines how both Wolverine and Gambit view X-23 and what's best for her.

I'm still holding out on a meeting with Spider-man for X-23, given he could understand what Laura is going through in terms of her relationship with Logan.

I really can't stand manga influenced art, but that image of "Laura" stabbing Wolverine is really well done.

and X-23 will remind them of Daken, who reminds them of Johnny

Glad that this series was renewed for a second year since I was worried it wouldn't continue since it was dropped from being a subscription title. Easily my favourite X-title (considering I originally just came in for Gambit since I didn't care for X-23. Really surprised that she's now one of my favourite characters) and easily one of the titles I most look forward to reading in general.

Great article! The news that X-23 will continue for another year has made my day. This series has been one of the best solo books to come along in quite some time. I'm really excited to see where it goes. Marjorie Liu has a great feel for X-23. She's getting to the most raw elements of the character and I really admire her for taking on a serious theme like self-mutilation. I like that Jubilee has entered the picture. I think she can be someone who has a good (although maybe not entirely positive

) effect. Whatever she does, I look forward to another year of X-23 awesomeness!

Liu's been doing well with all these interviews recently. Good to see her getting exposure.

I see they managed to spoil how X-23 and Jubilee get away from the train in their preview.

The art is a little confusing - Laura's legs almost look like they've gone under the wheels with the damage they take, but given their positioning it looks more like they just hit the front of the train on a bad angle. Jubilee almost looks to be kicking off the front of the train to get them to safety, which means's she'd be taking a far greater amount of force on her legs. I guess she can claim to have "better legs" than Laura now

Also love how Gambit is using his playa powers to calm Laura after Wolverine goes all hardcore and gets stabbed. Looks like he's got Richard Gere's pre-kiss technique down pat.

It would have been good if they had released a frame or two of Noto's art as well, since they talk about that.

And it's a little sad that they apparently bumped the long promised NYX storyline back just so they could do a FF crossover.
