One of my fave 90's artists who is just rocking it now. A good artist whould always improve his art style.
Pull List: Valiant Comics, Haunted Horror, Popeye Classics, Suicide Squad, Uncanny X-Force, X-Men
Having Garney's run on Cap ended by "Heroes Reborn" just absolutely broke my heart back in the day. He's a real survivor in a field that has its fair share of casualties - guys who were on a big book who just vanished.
One hell of a kind guy, also.
Has anyone read J.M. DeMatteis' and Garney's run on Silver Surfer? Is it worth seeking out? The Surfer strikes me as the ideal character for the creators in question to collaborate on. I would also love to hear Mr. Garney's thoughts on those issues should he be interested in sharing them.
I remember really digging Garney's stuff on the 1990s Ghost Rider series. He drew one mean spirit of vengeance.
