I still don't believe that DC will screw up Steph as Batgirl. I was loving this.
Gail likes so much Steph and Cass, but for now she doesn't said if she will exist in the new "reboot"
shame DC![]()

Frankly i was waiting for Batgirl to get cancelled cause it was just too damned good and did everything perfectly .
Call it the Agents of Atlas syndrome if you will.
I wouldn't say that I was waiting for Batgirl to get cancelled, but I knew that it was going to happen. I only started the series with last month's issue (after getting and reading all the back issues) and I knew the book was doomed the second I picked it up and started loving it. Such is the way of the world.
Current favorites:
DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy
My personal advice, and take it or leave it, would be to read one of the team-up issues: #14 (Supergirl), #17 (Damian Wayne), or #18 (Klarion the Witch Boy). If you read one of those and don't like it, then yeah, the series as a whole is probably just not for you.

I wish that within the Final Stehanie Brown Batgirl issue, that Steph and Cass meet up just one more time before it all over.![]()
Thanks in part to this thread, I picked up and read Batgirl Rising and The Flood. I see why she will be missed. They are just excellent, silly, fun books. Bryan Miller is a decent writer, but I'm not sure he's an excellent writer - you can the characters he likes to write are kind of the same (game: See how many times people say "I know, right?").
Still a lot of fun, though. I will be sad if she doesn't have a prominent role in the new DCU.
