anyway i was thinkining about how well positive bqm's batgirl has been recived.and i think its because in the grand scheme of comics steph as batgirl was something legitimetly special.

Bruce is always going to be the same way,so is dick and damien and most of the bat family their cherecteration is pretty much set. But the combination of steph just being a likeable charecter, bryens excellent writing and god forbid a lighthearted book in gotham mmade her time as batgirl something speciel it really does sadden me to see dc not see that.

the girl smacked bruce wayne for crist sakes,

and told him she was going to keep doing it bat symbol or not.

Wow i have always liked her spirit and her personality she has this can do thing that is really charming and i think her personality clashes well against the more dour superheros.

to me she seems the most normal except for Tim (whom i find kind of boring)even tho she has plenty of issues she doesn't let them stop her from being herself and she doesn't take anyones crap.

I wish i could find all the issues that people have been posting where Steph and Cass team up or hang out because they make such a cute team and they do have that my father is a super villain thing going on.

    I miss her already....
yes, the point is that you could get all of them bound in a nice deluxe hardcover that collects the entire run.

Yep. 24 regular issues plus the Red Robin crossover issue. Should be a pretty nice book.

Don't forget the Return of Bruce Wayne: Batgirl issue, and she'll also be in Batman Inc. #... 9, I think. And depending on how completist you are, she and Babs also guest starred in an Impact book... The Web #3, I believe.

There were a couple of other really minor appearances, but I think those were mostly unspeaking cameos.

You're right, that would fit nicely between issues 14 and 15.

We'll have to see how that one turns out. Personally I'd need it to serve as a good transition between issues 22 and 23. Unless of course issue 22 has her leaving England. In that case I'd have to see how it fit between 21 and 22.

I'll have to check that out because, yes, I am a bit anal when it comes to making these a cohesive cover to cover story.

Do you mean the Bruce Wayne: The Road Home issue? I checked out the Return of Bruce Wayne miniseries and Steph didn't appear to be in any of those issues. Unless I missed something?

    DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor

I love that Alfred is at the top and is that Damian struggling to hold up his ego? I think it is.

I think it does say a lot about Alfred since he is the paternal-grandfather-uncle type for Bruce and everyone respects him wither they want to or not.

I haven't liked everything he's written, but I think Kevin Smith wrote a brief but great Stephanie as Spoiler in Green Arrow. While I love what Bryan Q. Miller has done with her as Batgirl, there's no doubt she had a bit more sass and rebelliousness in her younger days:
