I just... Don't know what to do...
i was going to buy all her back issues up to current. Is there even a point anymore seeing as she will be lost?
I miss her already....

Stephanie is my second favorite Batgirl ever after Babs.
A close second, but still second.
Enjoy the new Batgirl series. Also like Ann Nocenti's books, miss Chris Claremont and David Michelinie comics.
*sigh* I miss Steph already. Another amazing character taken away from us.
Hopefully she pops up in the new universe.

Batgirl Rising appears to be out of print - I was hoping they'd reprint that.
All I know is that I was a bigger fan of the new Batgirl costume with Stephanie than I thought I would be. I still prefer Barbara's look overall (really into the classics), but Stephanie looked good in her costume. I'm planning on getting her DC Direct figure...just waiting to find a good deal on one.
Why would they bother now?
Has DC even considered the trades market? Whole swathes of trade collections, from 'Batgirl' to 'Birds Of Prey' to 'Batman & Robin' are now completely redundant. And believe me, knowing which books are in continuity and which aren't is important to potential readers. That's why I've never been attracted to Marvel's 'Ultimate' universe.

-this posters ragging on rob leifelds art is not ment as hatred toward the man he is a professional artist and got that way for a reason...however i cannot condone the use of pouches-
......BATGIRL is a good example of why people SHOULD NOT give up on the remaining pre-relaunch months of DC comics.
For those character who might not be around post-relaunch, there are still a few more months of publication to enjoy what we may (or may not!) be losing.
I actually dropped BATGIRL a month or 2 ago, but I'm gonna go grab those missing issues and stick around until August.
When they're limited series, yes. That's just another avenue for creativity.
But part of the reason I got into comics was the idea that these individual series are part of this great tapestry of interconnected titles with so much for me to discover. Knowing that a story will ultimately have no lasting effect, either on its characters or the other titles, makes it less appealing
