    Perhaps someone can explain why i am suppose to be excited for an Aliens FPS when i have already played a few aliens fps...es.

    I've only played AVP from 2010 so maybe all my credibility has gone out the window, but the folks over at Gearbox are chalking it up as THE definite Aliens experience. Below are some new screens released today.

    So is this a straight up FPS? Or is it more squad based and tactical? With Gearbox developing hopefully it's more the latter.

    Ripley's flamethrower? I don't just want her weapon I want to play as her.

    Perhaps they are going to save that for some DLC.

    The game feels so far away.

    could be a likeness rights issue with Sigourney Weaver? even when Alien was a hot franchise, she wasn't a part of any of the games

    Yes, you'll be able to wield your pulse rifle just like Ripley


    Apparently the four movie character's will be customizable too.
