Sad news.
Will follow Ron's work but still, his run on Witchblade was a hell of a run !!!
Good luck, guys.
It is sad, because Ron has done a great job with the title, but we'll just have to settle for all the other fantastic comics he does!
The end of an era for sure. I have enjoyed the entirety of Ron and Stjepan's run on Witchblade, but am glad to hear Ron will stay on Magdalena, which is a character I've always also enjoyed.
I wonder who the new creative team will be?

Hmmm is Ron hinting that he'll be working on a new Cyber Force series? The only other Top Cow property I can think of is Tomb Raider, but I'm not sure if they still have the rights for that.
while sad news , I'm also anxious to see what the project will be . Whatever it is count me in already
Please be The Darkness. I think I remember hearing that Hester is leaving after issue 100 and getting Marz on the title would sure ease the blow of losing him.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Tomb Raider... certainly fits the description of something old (it's been a long time). Developers are also working on a new TR game which reboots the character to be a young woman just starting her tomb raiding career, so it stands to reason a comic tie-in might be in the cards.
It was a hell of a run. Mr. Marz was probably the greatest thing to ever happen to Witchblade, he'll be missed on the book, but I'm sure whatever it is he has up next will be equally thrilling.
"All Good Things..." and all that. An outstanding run and definitely one that will be remembered in the history of the book for many years to come.
But I do recall reading somewhere--it may even have been in back pages of Witchblade itself--that Marz and Sejic were originally committed to the book up to issue #150, so I kinda suspected there might be a change afterward...
Having been with the book since the first issue, I'm always interested in seeing what comes next.
Always remember this stuff isn't real.
Ron,
I must admit that I was one of those that thought that Witchblade was nothing but a T&A book. I started reading a few months back and was very pleasantly surprised. You quickly become one of my favorite writers and I will be picking up Shinku this weekend. I hope that all goes well.
God bless
I go to the LCS for Magdalena, and what do they have? Some real nice Magdalena bookmarks! Love it. When I leave, me and my son look up and see a stealth bomber flying super low over Toys'r'us! Love it. Go home and read the news here...don't like it. Read Shinku, Magdalena, & Witchblade. Love it. It's been a hell of a day. Out with the old, in with the new. I will miss the team on Witchblade, but the future looks damn exciting.
Carpe Diem man. Life is too short to work that much.
I'm going to sob in the corner now...
Godspeed, Ron--you're the consummate professional.
When I read Ron's articles, it's amazing the way it feels like someone is sitting in the room and talking to you, rather than you are reading...
Anyway, glad to hear that Ron has made a positive move that will allow him to see more of his family. There's a message there for all of us.
