Cristos, I've said it before, but as long as you keep writing AA, I'll keeping reading it. It's simply one of the best books currently on the market. I don't need to say "keep up the good work" because I know you will. (And I can't wait for Angel and Faith, either.)

Yeah but I think Gage can do it a good job using the event to advance his characters. In much the same way Thunderbolts has found a way to advance even with their heavy event tie-ins unlike say New Mutants who just get bogged down.

Still Can A Mod Please Give Us A Poll so we can vote for which student falls?

    Also who has gotten 14.1?

I'm a fan of long shot guesses, so my vote is for Mettle to get a Serpent Hammer and the Academy to have to take him down (with Hazmat delivering the final blow).

Like I said. Long shot. No one suspects Mettle and Marvel has a slight history of doing the unexpected just for shock value. But they seem to be hinting that it's a betrayal rather than a possessed hammer thing. Though a mental breakdown from Hazmat having to hurt a possessed Mettle could be interesting.

I'll give you the main spoiler. One of the kids is most likely going to be a HUGE villain for them.

Dangit Dangit Dangit! Gage I see what you're doing!! You're gonna take Striker away from me aren't you!!

I can totally see his mom thinking hes lost his way given how much hes grown since just wanting to be in the spotlight. She'll get him outta that school in no time.......man do I ever hope I'm wrong on this speculation.

Issue #21 will see some definite shakeups, but the core things people love about "Avengers Academy" will remain. I couldn't be more excited about the future!
Red: Ah, confirmation on what we suspected from the solicits. With those possibilities open, it's pretty hard to make a guess. Striker seems like a good choice.

Green: Now THIS is the real meat, and it seems like Gage isn't joking about making the FI issues count. This sounds like changes in the aftermath of Fear Itself. Maybe there's greater Avengers oversight over the school? Pym gets replaced? A whole new cast of teachers? Maybe the school broadens its scope and welcomes more students? I mention this because someone asked Gage about Thunderstrike, and he mentioned there being a shakeup at #21.

I'm sure it's heavily linked to who leaves during the crisis and why they left.

That's not doing the unexpected. Having the kid who looks like the love child of Ultron and The Red Skull turn evil is too cliche.
