    Talking Wow!

This looks GREAT!!! I don't buy single issue comics, so I'll have to wait for the trade edition telling the whole story... can't wait!!!

Same here. This looks really interesting but I'll wait.

It kills having to wait so long but I can't deal with the single issues. I've waited years to finally see the Jason Aaron Wolverine omnibus show up.

Go on, get the singles. Its just three issues and if you wait for the trade someone will have spoiled it for you before you get to read it...

Thanks for the response guys. Don't just assume your comic shop will order copies. TELL THEM you want this. It's in the new June Previews and they can order it with the code JUN110501.

Also, we're going to be throwing a contest soon on www.facebook.com/thevaultcomic so stay tuned.

Are you sure? Once you open The Vault, there's no simple way to close it. %-)

    Default Clarke and Email

I must correct myself...Arthur C. Clarke's email was with Peter Hyams for the shooting of the sequel, 2010, not Kubrick for 2001. But he was still way ahead of the curve on email and its impact.
I got a little excited when talking about 2001 and got a couple decades ahead of myself.

As long as it doesn't open to reveal a disappointed Geraldo Rivera, I'm still in.

(apologies for the sad, dated reference. I is old)

    No Geraldo, thank goodness.

Still, I have a feeling that the folks that uncover the vault may wish they hadn't.

Read it late Friday night and thought it was brillant.

It reminding me somewhat of the Thing Prequel only underwater.

I would imagine the writer could have alot of fun with the characters and their
intrepretation of opening Pandora's Box here. Look forward to issue 2 and I am passing the word around great stuff.

Glad you enjoyed it. Lucky you got a copy now that the comic is sold out at the distributor level. Anyone needing a copy, whose LCS has sold out, let your comic retailer know to place a backlist order. It's the best way for Image Comics to know there is a demand.

Cool, I may go that route. Will the next issues follow the same pattern of showing up on Comixology 2 weeks after the print release date?
