I'm not super enthused about this story just because Cyclops and Wolverine feel so picked over as characters, but I am interested in a new status quo ("the aftermath" as he calls it) if that's what happens.
I do love the art.
I'm still concern over the fact that he states that the Scarlet Witch return will NOT affect the event at all.
Which makes me wonder, how will Wanda's return play into the other X-titles, outside X-factor ?![]()
Seems like Logan isn't a favorite among his fellow X-Men. He also seems to have reverted back to his original, canon height. Which is funny because Laurie towers over Logan, he has to look up to face Hope's face, and Idie, the only one shorter than Logan, walks off after giving him the "sinner in the hands of an angry God" look.

Children Crusade does not end until December. So schism should be unaffected.
F**** it more rockslide and anole. Still i see dust, anole. And I don't know surge, loa, or someone else.
And why are the lights so important. Hope just mind controls them to follow and they have been around for less then a month at best marvel time.

Crap. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap.
I didn't remember Jason Aaron was up for today's X-Position! What a great opportunity squandered. We got a bunch of "will we see (character) in 'Schism'/will you blow the story for 'Schism'?" questions? Ugh. (Not that my better questions would've got picked and made a difference or anything.)
Oh well. Thank you, Jason Aaron and George.

Sorry for double posting as my computer messed up on me.
Wanda Maximoff is a joke!

Yeah pretty much.
Another very nice X-POSITION. It felt a little short, but still insightful. It sounds like it might not be quite as big as a Civil War style book in that the effect will only be felt after it's over as Aaron states. I'm also glad he's getting the Five Lights involved because it really doesn't look like they're doing much in Generation Hope. Based on the previews, it looks like Logan is more pissed about things than usual. It'll be interesting to see who he takes it out on and how.Definitely looking forward to this! Depending on how the Fear Itself tie-ins end, it has a lot of potential.

X-men Supreme
I'm just saying that this one storyline, that this character played a major role in changes the X-men into where we are now, and was hoping her return would do it again.
I mean am I the only one who want to see some of the event reference in the X-titles after its over ?![]()
Scarlet Witch should turn herself into Spider-Girl and vanish off to the MC2 Universe!

The only way Children's Crusade can have an impact (at least emotionally) without screwing up overall continuity is if they kill off the Scarlet Witch.
Think about it. Children's Crusade is spanning 18 months. In that time, we will have had 1) Siege, 2) Second Coming, 3) Fear Itself and 4) Schism. And that's aside from more self-contained stories like Age of X and Curse of the Mutants.
All I'm saying is that in 18 months a lot of plot happens in the Marvel Universe. Sliding Children's Crusade into continuity (even in a messy fashion) necessitates the apple cart not being upset too much. But the story needs to feel meaningful, otherwise you've wasted a year and a half of the readership's time via hype and build up (not that that hasn't happened before).
You kill Wanda, you get emotional fallout from the YA, X-Men, Avengers and Magneto. And you get to skirt the pesky repowering-mutants-through-magic issue.
