Thumbs up Its about time there are new cons. LA always has room

whats wrong with more options for the public. what i've seen over the years of living in LA is that everything does well even with competition. clubs, theme parks, restaurants, beaches and even freeways are always very packed no matter how many there are.

This weekend is Bot Con and star wars in concert on the same night. They both will succeed though.

Holloween is busy with horror entertainment everywhere yet they're all always very busy. its not like LBCC is the only attraction that weekend. yet lbcc picks halloween for its con and succeeds

If the 3 shows promote themselves properly and stay in a possitive light, they will all succeed.

Its exciting to see LA bustling with new activity for the public and fans. And its about time

Default Comikaze a comic convention? Very much so. Stan LEE is their icon.

If comikaze were less of a comic book convention than the others, then why does Stan Lee seem to be the icon of the whole show. he even personaly endorsed the show. in fact he chose comikaze out of the 3 to participate in.

Pop culture media expo? of course. they encompass comic books, gaming, anime, sci-fi, horror. all multi media genres. those are genres that any comic book reader would embrace. yet comikaze is especialy about comic books. which is why they mostly say that they are a comic book expo before anything else.

I think that comikaze just doesnt want to be so cliche and call themselves "comic con". So they came up with their own name. "Comikaze Expo". Very courageous of them to do so. and in good taste towards the others.

the rest of the cons say that they are comic con. but in the publics eye, that makes them look like generic knock offs. San Diego already is Comic Con. why be cheap and use what someone else already created? San Diego Comic Con even calls there San Francisco Con "Wonder Con". Not "San Francisco Comic Con". Its called being original.

the shrine auditorium and frank and sons also seem to be an exception. props to them. very original!

In the long run, the real deal will always emerge strong.
