    That looks really awesome.
It's too bad I'm dropping both Cap books to protest the stupid re-re-re-re-re-re-numbering.
No one responds to street art anymore.
People tend to respond to things like loaded guns in their faces.

    That and celebrity spokesmodels.

Ditto. Marvel has lost a lot of my money because of this (Thor, FF, Wolverine, X-Men, etc, etc, etc, etc). I'm now down to four Marvel titles a month. Once Cap RE-starts, it'll be three a month. Once Hulk does it's RE-start, it'll be two. And so forth.

My DC books are down to two a month but if they start their rumored RE-start after Flashpoint, that'll be that.

Time to give the smaller companies my money. They need it more.

Just as I suspected, its not Bucky's funeral. Wonder if that will change people's minds about what's going to happen in FI 3 next week.

McNiv's artwork looks incredible. I just hope there aren't any delays. I think they sort said a while back that he's not the only artist on the book. I'm guessing they've had enough lead time to get through the first arc without any problems. Maybe we'll get Guice or even Epting back for the 2nd arc!

I'm gonna not pick this one up and go with the other, cheaper, book.

Not interested in Steve as Cap, not a fan of McNiven's art and not confident in his ability to get books out on time.

I'll use the money to start following one of Brubaker's creator owned works.

i still won't buy a $4, regular-sized comic book, but dang if anyone could get me to do it it'd be McNiven. For my money he is hands down the best in the biz right now.

I'm really confused by the folks whom are dropping the books only due to the renumbering? Does that really matte a whit? I can get not liking the writer, or the artist (well, in this case i can't) or not liking Steve back as Cap, but dropping it solely do to being renumbered? that seems like cutting off your nose to spite your face...

When i found out it was Peggy Carter's funeral, i felt really relieved although i don't think his "death" is totally, 100% out of the question. It also brings up the question as to why he isn't at her funeral.

And then when asked about Bucky, Brubaker said, "I hope people have faith that we know what we're doing a little bit.", which makes me think he "dies" but not dies.

Also, why are people getting so bent out of shape with the renumbering? Is it that big a deal to people that they'd protest by boycotting what looks like a great book? Marvel's killed off great characters, canceled great titles, ruined good books and shoved events down our throats, but the renumbering gets you to boycott?

I really hope this renumber helps to bring in more readers to a character who I admit I have not been following the solo adventures of. I can't speak for the "fans" who plan on dropping these titles come July, but I excited for this new start to CA and hope the title's quality rises above the outcry of the renumbering.

Interesting that Peggy is now Sharons Great Aunt as opposed to just Aunt and previously sister.

It makes sense but it also makes me wonder what this means for other Golden Age characters that returned in the Silver Age.

The Whizzer for example, fought alongside the Avengers. At this point he must have been at least 75 when he did that.

Phantom Blonde, returned in She Hulk, that would make her also about 75 before being deaged but she looked about 60. Plus had a daughter seemingly in her early 20's.

Spitfire has the same issue. She must have been at least 75 when she returned in Byrnes Captain America. With a son whose best friend ended up being Union Jack. I mean she must have been about 55 when she had him.

Not to mention the V Battalion.

I thought this was about another Broadway show featuring Cap.

    Oops.

I'm also a little surprised they didn't 'tweak' the costume a tad to reflect the movie version: Not talking full on, but a few of the details.

(and for the record, i'm still bummed Steve's back as Cap, feels like we didn't really spend enough time with "Commander Rogers")

Whizzer's dead so there isn't an issue there.

Phantom Blonde is an interesting case. After being deaged she looks to be about the same age as her daughter(which must make things really weird went they go out together).

The remaining founders of the V-Battalion are either really, really old or dead. It's mostly run by the grandkids, I think.

Spitfire pregancy must have been hailed as a modern day medical miracle. But being a dormant meta might have allowed her to pull that off.

No wonder Kevin Falsworth had so many issues.

His mum looked like his gram.
