So how did good comics when. It wasn't replaced with a better one, just one less comic.

but its interesting how nearly everyone who died all haunted peter in issue 655. So in one way evil won by teaching him no matter what good he does evil will always beat him.

No. Evil win only wins if you give up. Issue 655 only teach that sooner or later, people will die.

Mattie lost. She was gutted helplessly in a sacrificial ritual. A superhero should not die like that. They should bring her back as a ghost that haunts Spiderman. And JJJ or no one really misses her. It sucks to be a new generation character. The same fate awaits Hope Summers. Like it did teen Nomad and Gravity and surely Alpha.
