The Kennedy and Magneto magic bullet idea is the best thing to come out of that interview.

I dont give a shit either. Smells like another European conquers America movie.

There got that out of my system. Still, I wonder if this movie is going to be Magneto-centric. If so what a shame.

Who should the movie be centered around?

lol Roland, what are you talking about?

Anyway, Matthew Vaughn is great. I just saw Layer Cake and was mesmerized. If you're ever in Chicago, Vaughn, send me a PM.

Lets see. Given that the plot is also about how Magneto became...Magneto then why shouldn't it?

    he doesn't give a shit?

well.....the last person, who was proud they didn't know anything about the character in his movie was Ang Lee's Hulk.....

I love the X-men, been a fan since the first class...actually WAS the only class, so I have a hard time buying a ticket for this miss-mash.

Yeah, he came off as pretty arrogant in that interview. I don't think I can give a shit to go to see his film, now that I think about it.

An honest man in the kingdom of liars. If I were still on the fence about seeing First Class, these quotes would have knocked me right off. Nice to hear at least one of them say what most of them know/think but won't fess up to.

Really, these quotes made me more excited to see the film. A film is a film and a comic is a comic.

Yeah, I don't get the hate for him, he said exactly what every director should think when they make a movie.

I agree. Might as well call it 'Santa Maria: First Class' or 'X-Men: 1492'.

The X_men. I just hate villains and any movie that puts them in a sympathetic light protrudes my neck veins.

Also that Magneto Magic bullet joke with JFK...aggravated me. Its like American Sacred cows are on the menu. But when we do it---other nations scream Supremacy or that we are bullies.

And Forgive my mood. Im having plumbing issues.

That being said, Ive heard good reviews. And XFC will wash the stank of X3 out of my eye sockets.

Regardless I'm just glad to see a movie that actually looks like a X-Men movie.

Magneto has always been a sympathetic villain though... that's pretty much his whole shtick he's not really a bad guy he just has a different point of view. And the movie is about the X-Men, it's just a different group of them than we usually see, nothing wrong with that as an interchangeable roster has been part of the X-Men's charm for a while now.

Also, since when is the whole "magic bullet" thing a sacred cow? It's a conspiracy nut theory that is a huge joke so it being explained away as trickery by Magneto is just a further play on that asinine theory.
