No problem, the only downside of the book for me was the some of the art. For about 90% of the book the art was good but every now and then Joe didn't look quite right, usually on the close ups. They gave him some wolverine-esque side burns and I think that's why it looked off to me. Still glad I could help.

That sort of thing doesn't really bother me - peoples hair styles change. Maybe he is just rocking the 70's retro hero look

If he had the Bob Ross look he would be the most powerful man in the universe!

Yeah it doesn't normally bother me but it just stuck out for some reason. It wasn't nearly as bad as Pete's hair in Ultimate Spiderman when LaFuente first took over

I just finished SP#1 and I have to say it's everything i wanted and more. This is now on top of my must read list.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Stories are not science experiments predicable outcomes are not the payoffs.

Just finished to read the first issue!
It was nice to see this universe back, and Joe/Doc Spectrum is a nice touch to bring Supreme Power.

Will we see Zarda and the rest of the Squadron?
Did the events of the futur seen on precedent issues happened?

    EDIT:

Where did you read that? It would place Supreme Power v2 in 2016, and not 2011.

I think the Mr. Higgins' story takes place few weeks/months after the Chaykin's run (which took place in 2011 chronologically).
If not why use the President Obama?

I've made a precise timeline, if some of you are interested, I can create a topic or post it here.

It was a decent issue. Not mindblowing, but it had all the basic elements that made the original volume a success, if not quite the stylistic or artistic flourishes that elevated it to the next level.

Not a lot of big new concepts I guess is what I'm saying, but it definitely felt like something that came from the JMS universe or, perhaps more accurately, the Wildstorm universe circa the Ellis Authority/Stormwatch/Planetary era.

I also like that it didn't revel too much in the MAX imprint. No nudity, two f-bombs. Solid. Too much reliance on all of that could have killed it, and I still feel like the change from MAX to Marvel Knights was itself unimportant in the downfall of JMS's interest in the book. I just think he loses interest pretty quick.

Yeah, you are right there. I kind of got pissed about that last time. And Kyle was going to do a signing for the book and it didnt even come out that week. And i believe Kyle himself said that the book takes place 5 years after the last the last series. I believe the interview is on CBR somewhere. Kyle a little help here please.
