    Augie found "Strange Adventures" disappointing, feeling it was a rehash of too many anthologies seen before. Then, jump in the time machine and see what's been happening in comics during the last 12 years!

    Aw, man, I was looking forward to Strange Adventures. I wish I hadn't read your review before getting it. :/

    I tend to get a bunch of anthologies as they are the only way I get out of the little rut of the same titles every month. I've gotten all the Strange Tales from Marvel and am working through the fifth volume of MySpace: Dark Horse Presents (to which I am having the same been there/seen that reaction you had to Strange Adventures). As much as I like the Solo series, I had that feeling a lot, too, while reading it: too much reliance on old horror and sci-fi cliches.
