Well, Drake doesn't exactly know how everyone else woke up to begin with, and he actually found it really weird that everyone *hasn't* been awake until now.

He did surmise that it requires some sorta life/death thing, but he found it really weird that the Alaphiam just woke up, given he's been running around with powers for some time, and his patron has been up and running (heheh) for awhile now.

And nothings wrong with not believing her, but it's a bit different than going "Okay, cool story, you're fired" the same instant after finding out the story about how she could have killed the Xiroc and didn't...because it involved killing millions.

I atleast got that impression from several of the posts, but I will admit I might have glanced some posts.

It sort of seems like she was getting credited with incompetence because she wasn't ruthless enough, as opposed to having a lapse of judgment after continuously fighting and dying against an alien menace...Which, well, even on that, Drake wouldn't be entirely unsympathetic to.

Really? I didn't get the idea that her incompetence was related to her morals from people's posts. But eh, fair enough.

Mind you, everyone has their own perspective, but to Drake, it looks like she explained that, and everyone lost their shit about it, and then started trying to become the new alpha-alaphim when they just went through god puberty five minutes ago.

Drake is a pure human, and he technically has more of a feel for this than they do, so he's hardly encouraged by their actions, never mind the rep most gods hold, yet you'd think everyone here didn't just get 99% of their knowledge from the chick they're trying to replace.

Argh, seems I can't find a good spot to jump in, and even when I do, I get ignored.

I blame the number of players and the fact that there's a lot happening at once.

In a group this large, it's a problem.

Sticking with a small group, addressing only those things that directly impact my character (ie, people talking directly to me, people walking up to the group with the intent of discussing something, etc) and making a decision to actually DO something seems to be working. Kris has more than enough on her plate just talking with this little group.

Fate waking us up will pare down the size of the groups and allow people to start interacting with NPC's, should we bump into any. :)

Oliver is up for talking to the Xiroc.

Not really for any reasons of keeping the peace, mostly because he just want to fuck with everyone.

Also, he's sticking with Fianna. So at least the two of them are going to fly to Vancouver once they get back to the real world.

Regardless of that Gregory is on all teams. Because Wolverine. Nobody will question this or wonder how he can be in multiple places at the same time. Because Wolverine. Sometimes Gregory will be on a team and do nothing but hit on women. Because Wolverine.

Then it's probably best to explain to Cleric the group with whom you would like to post. :) Or the areas with which you can't post.

Basically it comes down to the players. Some will want to go with a group based on the decision their characters make, and will have to deal with the timing issues. Others might decide to toss that out the window, and post with a group who posts at the same time as themselves.

This isn't exactly a new problem for PBP games. :) People have been adapting either way like this for years, and there's no 'right' or 'wrong' way if the GM doesn't specify it at the beginning.

Selia wants to be on the negotiation team so she can Alice the whole thing up if the Xiroc turn out to be willing to negotiate. Only Cleric and SHR2 players will know what I refer to when I say "Alice the whole thing up."
