The macuahuitl. They're more swords then clubs, really. Historical accounts claim they could behead a horse.

They make scalpels out of that stuff. As in, "are actually used in modern hospitals for surgery" type scalpels.

Ah, but his voice is a weapon. It's scientifically created to get stuck in your head forever!

Because if your Surgeon isn't prepared to decapitate a horse, what good is he?

Can't Chey create pretty much any weapon she wants out of water or air?

Theoretically yes, but she doesn't have a fine enough control over it to create things such as maces or blades.

I'm actually leaning toward her Iron Scale ability as her weapon, but some Aqualadish water control would be interesting.

Oh Hell yes, once I get Radiant Serpent power up, I am making a macuahuitl construct

There are several, really - Glaive, partisan, vogue, naginata, hewing spear, guan dao...

Depends on the nationality and the exact design of the blade part, really.

Like, a completely generic european sword.

    But it's on a stick.

Closest thing is something called a hafted sword or staffsword:

Apparently, it was a Swedish innovation.

    It's Scandanavian? How convenient.

I figured since Laevatein was a little vague as to what it's supposed to be but might be a sword, the name translates as "Damage Twig" and Ericson's already using a staff, a Swordstaff would be a fairly cool interpretation.

I'll just tell them to slam themselves in the face with their own weapons.

    That'll work.

Funny thing is, the sagas do mention this kind of mysterious viking polearm, sometimes translated as a "halberd." These days the main theory is that they refered to a hewing spear, that is to say a spear with a very long, sword-like blade capable of delivering cuts.

So, you may not be that far off here.
