CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: Lance was born in Toronto, and took over the family business of drinking and getting in fights. This led into a short stint as a boxer, then into MMA. But he never could get a handle on his drinking, so now he's just a bouncer at a titty bar, taking most of his paychecks in beer and whiskey.

Going to ground-When you've ducked creditors, landlords, and pissed off husbands as many times as Lance has, you learn how to live your life off the grid.
Size up the punk-He's gotten very good at evaluating how well someone can handle themselves, and if they might be armed.

WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
Lance carries a Glock 9mm and a set of brass knuckles with him at all times.

GOD POWERS: Weather control, superhuman strength and durability, lightning bolts, regenerating flying goats

Godly Strength: Lance can overcharge his body with divine power, adding his Power rating to either Brawn or Speed.

Weather Control: Lance can use Mjolnir to control the weather, creating any storm conditions he wishes, from hail to a tornado to a hurricane. He can also call down lightning, as if he had used Mjolnir's lightning power, on anything under his stormcoulds.

A Warrior's Mind is his Own: Lance has an additional 20% resistance to mental powers and effects.

Mjolnir: The Hammer of Thor. Mjolnir manifests as a metal hammer about a foot and a half long, with a leather-wrapped handle. It feels as if it has a constant static charge, and can be summoned to Lance's hand at a distance. The hammer adds 3 to Brawn for the purposes of dealing damage, and can throw bolts of lighting that strike with Brawn equal to Lance's Power. These bolts can travel up to (Power) yards before dissipating. When holding the hammer, Lance is capable of flight.

Megingjörð: This belt doubles Lance's base Brawn stat, and stacks with the boost from his Godly Strength power. If he uses this at the same time as Godly Strength to boost his Brawn, he can only maintain this state for 30 seconds before losing access to both powers for 5 minutes.

Járngreipr: This power manifests as a pair of iron gauntlets that increase Lance's Agility by 5, but only in terms of his hand speed.

Zeus' Thunderbolt: Lance can catch a bolt of lightning, from the sky or from Mjolnir, and throw it as a spear. This greatly increases it's power, but takes much longer to use, a full 10 seconds (2 combat posts). The bolt strikes at Brawn 50, and affects things in a 10-foot wide cylinder along it's path. When it strikes it's target or a solid surface, it explodes with a blast radius of 100 feet.

Thunder King: Lance's lightning has a measure of Zeus and Thor's absolute power. It partially negates any supernatural protections against damage the target might possess. Negating, absorbing, deflecting or dodge-enhancing powers do not offer their full protection against Lance's lightning.

CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: A cocky young man who believes there is nothing he can't do and wants it all.
Seth's life has been mostly average, he hangs out with his friends, parties a lot, and goes to school at a decent University. However, he is getting bored with such an average life. There's nothing wrong with the way things are, Seth is fine with all of that, it's just that he wants something to happen. He wants to be somebody. A big shot. He wants to go down in history as having been someone.
Currently, he is on a trip to Hong Kong from New York to study abroad.
He has gotten his wish, but of course, there's the old saying of 'be careful what you wish for'. And it has come true for Seth. Not even a day after he arrived in Hong Kong, he meets a woman named Jia Li who he becomes freindly with and they are attacked by a brainwashed servant of the Xiroc aliens. After teaming up to take him down, the two were awakened by a little girl named Fate. Not long after, he met Kyle and Dan, who were Alaphim like him and Jia Li. The group met up later in a park and are now being confronted by a mysterious woman.

Born in Pennsylvania to loving and supportive parents, and it was in the family garage that Ashley found her calling. Like many middle-class men of the time, Bill Masterson convinced himself he wanted to ‘o something productive with these hands’ and bought an impressive collection of power tools, most of which looked destined to hang there unused like their millions of brethren across America.

One sight of his 12 year old daughter taking a powersaw to a piece of old pipe was enough for the Mastersons to enrol Ashley in proper classes on the condition she never do that again till she was qualified.

After breezing through school with better than average, though not outstanding grades, Ashley went on to Carnegie Mellon University, enrolling for a degree in mechanical engineering and interning at a mechanic’s store. She graduated with top honours, then moved to California where it’s never too cold to ride a motorcycle and started a successful independent hardware design company, with fingers in military and civilian vehicle, tool and weapon design as well as prototype and custom workshop manufacture, where she could lay get her own hands dirty rather than oversee a monotonous production line.

Ashley is in the middle of a full, rewarding life, not without downs but with friends in and out of work, good family, a business she loves, enough time for relaxation and a rising income. She bears no resemblance to her previous existence as the Grim Reaper, and is unlikely to welcome the revelation.

Reaping
As the reincarnated Grim Reaper, Ashley is able to extinguish a target’s life force, either through touch or charging inanimate ‘dead’ objects with this effect. Charging an object with the reaper effect can only last for a few minutes. As the process does not cause physical damage, it is not painful, feeling more like what a fatigued person would experience the moment before a deep sleep.

Golems, undead and spiritual beings live too even if they do not qualify scientifically and are thus not immune. Particularly healthy targets or ones with strong regenerative capabilities can withstand greater degrees of this effect, allowing them to stay alive after longer, greater physical contact with her or greater object charges. Though it leaves surviving targets physically very weak from their brush with death, they suffer no wounds and thus, short of being sent into a coma, they recover quickly compared to attacks that leave trauma. Reaping will not stop objects in motion and cannot ‘kill’ machines that lack true AI.

Death's Door
No place is free from death's reach. Ashley can open portals to other realms and places. The ability is hard to master, however, and it will be some time before she can easily open them to places she cannot see.

Soul Claim
Any soul or spirit (term is interchangeable here) which is bound to a physical 'shell', i.e. a body, then released from it is subject to the grim reaper. Ashley can claim the soul and keep it in her custody, during which the soul is bound to follow her orders but is relatively powerless, or send it to the afterlife/judgement she deems appropriate.

Ashley can lay claim to the souls of the undead.

Ashley cannot lay claim to souls that have never inhabited a physical body but have been trapped in an item such as a crystal or magic lamp, they are not 'dead' when freed from their physical shell, since it is a prison rather than a body.

Ashley can lay claim to souls that have left their physical bodies temporarily, but cannot banish them.
