CBR: Marvel Teases "X-Men: Schism" Battle

Marvel has released an Adam Kubert illustrated promo image for "X-Men: Schism" teasing an all-out brawl between Cyclops and Wolverine. The X-Event by Jason Aaron and Carlos Pacheco kicks off in July.

Do people actually think that Cyclops and Wolverine will be dueling to the death? It's gonna be a split based on their disagreements on the crisis. The images are just physical interpretation of their disagreement. They'll both live and lead their separate groups. People on the X-Men will have to take sides.

The one real confrontation to death between those two happened in AoA off panel. Cyclops lost an eye and Wolverine a hand... In prelude #1 and #2 there is nothing remotely foreshadowing a Schism, in fact both Xavier and Max are fawning all over Cyclops...
