At the moment for me it is the new Spider-Girl series, allthough i am not sure if it's ongoing or just a mini. But i don't have a confirmed ongoing series yet that is my fav, i'm only new to the world of comics.

I guess I am going to say Preacher, as well.

However, I would add Cooke's Parker books, Brubaker's Criminal, and of course Watchmen.

Yay, my first All-Time favorite thread.

Suicide Squad was/is the best. The original run, and the first say...20 issues in particular. Real world political intrigue combined with treacherous villainy and plenty of moral quagmires.
This series really flushed out the character of Floyd Lawton/Deadshot, who up till that point was a fairly generic bat-villain. He's become a well developed player in the DCU since then.
Captain Boomerang was a scumbag and I loved him for it.
Reading this book while it was a monthly, I was approximately 10 years old and I think it had a major affect on my interest in world politics. As a fan of monsters and madmen (books like Secret Six, Weapon X and Thunderbolts) this one is the cat's @#!
