Read somewhere that Dan Didio said that Power Girl will be appearing in one of the 52 titles. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?
Power girl > supergirl.
No contest, no cooperation, no co-mingling.
there are FOUR ROBINS in this relaunch and people are whining and moaning and tearing their hair out because OH POWER GIRL IS REDUNDANT.
That is completely absurd and should be automatically disregarded. Power Girl is doing her own thing. I've always argued that the Super family is besides the point for Power Girl and now I see that I'm more right than I even thought I was. They've killed this character because DC can't distinguish one woman from another; AHH, JUST MUSH 'EM TOGETHER, THEY'RE BASICALLY THE SAME THING ANYWAY, RIGHT?
What a pack of nonsense.
As for SG, honestly, though DC might regard her now as a combination of the old SG and PG characters, the solicit for SG one makes her seem absolutely nothing at all like PG has ever been presented.

What I think is that most fans are over-reacting over not seeing her featured on any covers.
But that mere fact alone -- not being in any covers -- means next to nothing, really.
There are some team books announced, and NOT all the members are shown. Johns and Lee have said that there are going to be 14 members in their Justice League, but on the cover there are only 7.
And on the cover of "Red Hood and the Outlaws" there are only 3 characters... I think it's safe to assume that there's going to be more than just three characters in that team.
Power Girl may end up being a member of one of those teams. She just doesn't have her own book anymore, but she can still be used just fine, I think.
And there's another possibility... what if she was a supporting character in Supergirl's title? Not THE SAME character as a result of a merging... but a different character, except, she'd be part of the supporting cast, instead of the star of her own series.
