I appreciate what you're trying to say. There are fans of Power Girl who feel just as passionately about her as you do about Supergirl. I am not going to try to justify why we need both versions of Kara because I doubt it will change your opinion. I jusr personally love Power Girl and would be saddened if she disappeared just so she wouldn't "muddy the waters" for Supergirl. That's it.

I don't wish that on anyone but I'm a great believer in sorting out the basic premise before expanding outwards. PG is an expansion and that is not to suggest she is less important but I think we all saw in the years after COIE that if you don't sort out a streamlined continuity there will be significant problems. I am a child of the 90's. I didn't grow up with regular Kara!Supergirl comics or Babs! Batgirl comics and that has a severe effect on my opinions in this matter. I don't want any character to disappear long term.

I'll miss Power Girl if her series doesn't continue. I like both Supergirl and Power Girl so I'd rather they didn't just get rid of one or merge them together. I think if they really wanted to take away the complication in Power Girl's origin, they could just do something simple like make her Supergirl's older sister or something.

I'm really starting to lean towards the idea that they merged Power Girl with Supergirl. I think they'll write her as though she was Power Girl--but with smaller boobs and no cleavage window, IMO...

there are FOUR ROBINS in this relaunch and people are whining and moaning and tearing their hair out because OH POWER GIRL IS REDUNDANT.
That is completely absurd and should be automatically disregarded. Power Girl is doing her own thing. I've always argued that the Super family is besides the point for Power Girl and now I see that I'm more right than I even thought I was. They've killed this character because DC can't distinguish one woman from another; AHH, JUST MUSH 'EM TOGETHER, THEY'RE BASICALLY THE SAME THING ANYWAY, RIGHT?
