I'm surprised Dan isn't writing this one, given his love for Shang-Chi.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

I just like to say that "Spider-Island: Deadly Hands of Kung Fu" is a wonderful title for a comic book.
Wasn't going to go for it at first, but I have to throw my support behind Iron Fist and the Immortal Weapons!!

While I'd rather have a Shang-Chi series start not connected to any event, this might give him the sales needed to propel him into an ongoing. I haven't read anything from either Antony Johnston or Sebastian Fiumara, but from what I've seen Fiumara is a talented artist.
EAT GLASS, LAWMAN!
So do I. I hope it gets something like the Blackest Night trades got, although it probably won't be a big enough event for that.
This is still the first time I can remember a Spider-Man event having so many minis and tie-ins (since the clone saga anyway, if that counts) so I'm probably going to pick it up even though I haven't enjoyed the current direction or picked up any issues for a while.
If SI is good, and the trades are good, I might double-dip.
Really looking foward to this.
A great choice of a character to apear in a limited series in the context of the Spider Island.
Hopefully this will sell well, and a new Shang Chi ongoing gets made.
Pull List:Uncanny Avengers,Avengers,Superior Spider-Man,Daredevil,Captain America,Thor:God of Thunder,Swamp Thing.
Two of my favorite superheroes in one book? Awesome! So looking forward to this.

hopefully here will be nonstop action in the book and and plenty of stunts..
Not a shang fan either, but Spidey is on my pull list so guess ill stick it out. I am optimistic though
Bobby- "What are ya'll talkin' about?"
Andy- "Morning drinking"
Bobby- "For it!"
I'm not planning on reading any other Spider-Island stuff but this book has captured my interest. I enjoyed Mr. Johnston's "Blood on the Streets" mini last year and feel it was one of the best things to come out of Shadowland (and no, I'm not trying to damn it with faint praise).
The Master of Kung Fu, Iron Fist, and the Bride of Nine Spiders in a martial arts / supernatural showdown!!! I'm buying this. Too bad there isn't a cackling villain. More's the pity indeed.
BOOSTER GOLD (Michael Jon Carter), HAWKEYE (Clint Barton), IRON FIST (Daniel Rand), MOON KNIGHT (Marc Spector aka Steven Grant aka Jake Lockley), NIGHTCRAWLER (Kurt Wagner),
