So what's Bionic Mans custume going to look like going forward? Is it going to be just whatever he happens to have on or that red and black thing he was wearing in the last issue?

I think it's going to be a generic blue jacket thing judging by some random pics I've seen of the original, but Dynamite could change it to make it look a little more appealing to the audience. I seriously wouldn't gripe over the get up he had on in issue #8, it looked good on him and stood out with the red & black coloring.

I got my copy of Bionic Man #5 today and I agree, the red n' black suit looks really awesome on Steve Austin! I hope they keep this as his main outfit, it gives him a unique look that I feel the character really needs to be recognized among the slew of comics out there, and it's the best the character has looked since the series launched last year. As for the story, it was well written and it moved nicely, I feel like the war going on has been very enjoyable and I'm a huge fan of the Hull villain, I hope he sticks around for a while.

At first, I was meh about the Bionic saga as comics...but they look pretty darn interesting. I like how they've modernized and updated Steve and Jaimie. I'll wait to get the first arcs as graphic novels.

The way they are being portrayed is ideal for a modern tv series.

I agree. it looks great. Unfortunately I no longer buy single issues, so I've been harping on the TPB to hit the shelf. According to Amazon I have to wait until August!

The fight scenes in this book are unreal, they're very cinematic and really draw you into the action. The overall plot has been fantastic and really has made me care about this character, which is kind of funny because I've never watched the show or had any connection to Bionic Man whatsoever, but Dynamite has a way of making me love characters I've never given a hoot about before. Seriously, if you're on the fence about trying this book than at least read issues 1-7, if you don't get hooked than you may as well give up but I have the feeling you'll love what you read and will come back for more.

I will miss kevin smiths plot on this book but I'm excited to see how it feels with the new writer and plotter.

Will he keep his red and black suit? Hope so!

Bionic Man #10 was excellent, I loved the last battle between Steve and Hull and the ending where Steve and his women were bickering as they drove off was absolutely hilarious. Lau's art has been some of the best stuff to come out of Dynamite and I will miss seeing Hull in all of Lau's glory grace the pages of Bionic Man now that Hull's dead, hopefully issue #11 was just a fill in artist and Lau will be returning because issue #11 had horrible art and I can see this title loosing readers if that art will be the ongoing trend in this book.
