will this be subject to lawsuits because of the Caidin conflicts..

..does anyone own the DVD box set? is it worth picking up? IMO, Time-Life doesn't have a great track record..

..Is the Farelly Brothers "adaptation" totally dead? Someone please say yes, and also say that a "real" update is around the corner..

Was this the LAST nostalgic property to made into a comic book?!? Have we used everything from the 80's up and are moving into the 70's?
Comics still reading: Saga, Sixth Gun, Walking Dead, All New X-Men, Daredevil, Fury MAX. DC New 52 isn't the worth the paper its printed on...

What conflicts? I thought it was important to recognize the origin in the Caidin novels, but I've never heard that there were any problems with the licensing of the character and concept for the TV show, or any current conflicts between Caidin and the TV people over rights to put characters in comic books, new TV shows, etc. Have there been recent lawsuits or threats of lawsuits I haven't heard about?

I read this and thought it was a leftover April Fools joke.I remember this show and both it and its spinoff were awful. What in Gods Green Earth is anybody involved with this thinking? As far as Caidin not objecting to what was an obviously a ripoff I think he(if he's still around)or his family should file suit since it is likely to spawn a new show or movie. What next? My Mother the Car? Dynamite already dropped the ball with Robocop. Now on top of the Green Hornet tsunami which drowned Robocop we will have multiple Six Million Dollar Man titles that will probably bury Matt Wagners finish of his Zorro run and a dozen more projects more deserving than this piece of crap.I'm saying this as a fan of the Green Hornet comic by Smith and Hester as well as 2 of the spinoffs.

I agree. His scripts aren't good enough to be filmed, but they are good enough to spawn comic series after comic series.

Sorry for bringing this back to the top ... but has anyone heard/read how many issues Kevin Smith will be doing? and if they plan on it being an ongoing series, beyond Kevin's input?

It is scheduled to be an ongoing series but I'm unsure on how many issues Smith is slated for, my guess would be 10-12 issues. What a fun series its been too, all 3 issues have delivered a great story so far and the art has been darn enjoyable, kudos to Dynamite on this book.

I am looking forward to the cross-over issue with DC where Batman defeats Steve Austin by short-circuiting him with pee.

I'm currently on issue #4 of this book, it's been a fun ride so far but it does kind of seem like everything that's happened could have been summed up within a single issue to help move things along so we can get to the fun stuff, it's still been damn enjoyable though and I'm happy to be a part of it. Hull is an interesting enemy so far, I love his design and can't wait to see him toss fists with Bionic Man, despite the slow start I'm enjoying getting to know Steve and his friend who pushed for him to get the surgery, it's been pretty interesting stuff.

    Man.....

That fight between Bionic Man and Hull was pretty intense, it literally had me hanging on every last panel and now that I'm only on issue #7 I'm hoping to see more intense action like this in the near future. This book is intense, if not a tad relaxing at the same time.......yes, you read that correctly!
