Las Vegas? I hope he comes to NYC.
Does Superman take a break from his walk and get a slushie in this issue?
Don't worry, you'll get it.

Hey, what do you know there's going to be a real super villain in this story! I really hope there aren't any environmental power plant arguments in this issue.
I also hope that the "secret supervillain" subplot gets advanced.
Really, at this point I am just hanging on until this storyline is over.
Too bad about Robeson not getting an independent look at the character...I would have liked to have seen an adventure with the Fortress of Solidarity folks.
This issue was freaking incredible. It's got everything from Iron Munroe to the electric blue superman suit, with a last page that is an awesome answer to the nonsense story in Action Comics 900 that everyone seems to hate.
Roberson seems to live and breathe Superman, and it's a shame that DC is cutting him loose after this story.
To be fair, while I haven't read the book, Roberson didn't just add that in response to what Goyer wrote. They probably didn't speak to each other and read each other's script.
Another winner from Roberson. He was really able to pack a lot into this issue and try to make it worth the cost. I was very happy with the use of Jimmy Olsen and Iron Munro's guest spot. Good thing Clark is a pack rat.
Roberson has changed my mind about "Grounded". Since he started writing the book the concept of the story changed. I loved the conflict with Livewire.
I loved seeing Jimmy in the book again. And it was great to see Iron Munro back in action. I wish someone would do something with the Young All Star characters.
After Grounded is over I hope Superman is back in Metropolis & we get to see him & Lois as a couple! Plus I miss the Daily Planet & all the regular supporting cast.
Roberson found good use for the red/blue electric Superman suit. Love it. I love that Jimmy got a good part in this. It was great to see Iron Munro. I hope we see more of him in the later issues.
Oh man, it looks damn nice once again and it's real cool to see Livewire.
Thanks to you Roberson for an another fine Superman issue.
A simple story beat, but great anyway.
One doesn't need the validation of others to justify what they like.
Like many of you I thought this issue was good. Not great but a totally solid Superman story. And yes, I think the last page was a nice coincidence.
Not that it really matters, but I haven't had a chance to check, did Strange Visitor (Kismit) create her own electric blue Super suit? Way back at the end of '99? Ot did Superman give the one he had to her? It creates a little continuity trip but, it could always be said that he had more than one.
This issue doesn't change my mind about Grounded...but it does go a long way toward patching stuff up. I even felt like the evil villain in the background subplot was advanced....she was in the hostage crowd with the glass shard....okay....now I am curious about where this is going....I haven't felt that way in awhile about this title.
String a few more solid issues like this together and I will have to stop hating on DC editorial......it'll be hard cause I've been getting used to it.![]()
I really enjoyed this issue and the post-700 run of Superman so far!
