This looks good. Ka-Zar has come a long way since X-Men 10 back in the day. Thankfully he is less a Weismuller-wannabe and has developed some real personality. The writing looks good (what little that was seen in preview) and the art looks interesting as well. The nice thing about the art is that it is a distinctive style--something rarely seen these days outside of a few exceptions. I love Ka-Zar & Zabu along with Shanna--gonna have to check this series out. Good luck Marvel!

Yeah, looks beautiful. I wish there was more to the preview than Kazar getting the sh*t kicked out of him from unseen lightning bolts, but I'm just being impatient.

Hmm..I wonder if Moonboy and Devil Dinosaur will show up? Or Kraven? Or Skaar?

I'm not sure I would buy this only because I think Ka-Zar is one of those characters that has trouble sustaining an ongoing series because of his environment. See also: Namor, Aquaman, Atom, Inhumans.

I remember really enjoying Ka-Zar's solo series from Mark Waid...and I think Andy Kubert...really good stuff but sadly the sales weren't there and it got cancelled. That's not to say this series can't be successful so here's hoping because at the very least that artwork/coloring is really outstanding.

This isn't an ongoing its a mini series so I doubt you'll have to worry about it getting cancelled.
I haven't read much Ka zar but I plan to read this because it looks nice

I agree with you! I really enjoyed that series back in the day. Plus they gave Ka-Zar a really nice costume update with army boots and some modern touches.

I guess this means they will survive every thing that is happening to them in Skaar: King of the Savage Land.

Looks good and is action-oriented - at least the preview is; that's right up my alley. But, I'm still unsure if I should buy it.

Try this series by Bruce Jones and Brent Anderson. One of my favorite series of all time.

I was looking forward to this from the previews. But the story was a bit confusing to follow (I could with some effort.) and not very engaging. I don't know who most of the characters were (should I?) and the big reveal at the end wasn't anyone I knew.
