To be fair, I ain't reading the book right now obviously, so I'm taking your word/interpretation of what was written for this. But, if that is indeed the case, that's a bit cold ain't it? MJ knew Peter was Spider-Man before she went on a date with him. Peter wanted to date Carlie as Peter Parker, no strings attached. He wanted to make sure that she liked him for him, or hated him for him, and neither liked or disliked him because he wore a costume.

I'll never understand why you say stuff like this. Despite your attempts to state otherwise, MJ is not a slut and doesn't sleep around with everyone. She was generally a nice and caring spouse and there is zero reason to believe that she would sleep with anyone but her husband and certainly not someone who was at this time one of Peter's best friends and who later was someone Peter was at war with. It's a ridiculous statement (like most of your MJ comments).
