Default Wrestler of the Week (05/2-05/08)

Welcome to the TV/Film board's Wrestler of the Week poll.

Each week you'll get your chance to pick the wrestlers who you think entertained, competed, or did the best during the previous week.

People can list up to 5 picks (you can list only one if you want). But you must at least rank them from 1 to 5 since I will be giving points depending on how the picks are ranked. You can either choose a single wrestler for a pick or a tag team as a pick. You can also break up tag teams into individual picks.

There is no real criteria for why you pick who you pick. It can be whoever you did best that week, whoever you enjoyed the most that week, or however you decide who makes your favorites at that time. It can be from any company, federation or country. As long as the person did something that week in the industry. Just listing your all time favorite who didn't do anything that week is not in the spirit of the game.

I'm going to limit this pick thread to only listing people's picks. You can list why you picked who you picked. But comments and responses to people's picks should be kept to the main wrestling thread.

This week's poll is for wrestlers who were active during the week of 05/2/11-05/08/11. This poll will be open until 05/09/11 6PM PST/9PM EST.

If you don't rank them, I can't accurately count them.

Randy Orton - Putting aside the fact that he broke our hearts, he is the new champ.
Big Zeke - He manhandled the Big Show on Smackdown. I don't remember the last time I saw someone suplex Show like that.
The Miz - He also "won" a title. Too bad that didn't stand.
Kharma - Now that Laycool is done, the only joy I get out of the Divas division is seeing Kharma destroy it one by one. Can't wait till she gets to Natalya or Beth.

    1. Sin Cara, enjoyed his match the most.
    2. The Miz, because i'm going to miss him if they make him midcard.
    3. Kharma, for keeping Diva matches short since they have to cut time so she can come out and stomp one of them.

    1. Randy Orton... your NEW World Heavyweight Champion... we get it.

    2. Hiroshi Tanahashi: Another great title defense, beating Shinsuke Nakamura to defend his IWGP title.

    3. WGTT - Another team title defense for Haas and Benjamin, beating Cole and O'Reilly... Now all they have to do is fix up the attitude issues, judging from fan reports.

    4. Eddie Edwards - The ROH champion defended his title in the best match of this week, against Chris Hero (who was sporting some Larry Sweeney inspired tights, as a tribute to the man he trained to wrestle gone too soon).

    5. Takashi Sugiura - GHC Heavyweight title defense... and he's had plenty of them. He's two defenses away from Kenta Kobashi's defense record.
You just have to be cool about it...

1- Robert Roode for the best mic work of the week.
2- Miz for almost making us believe he was going to win the title back.
3- Christian for acting like a top of the card guy even if he isnt treated like one.
    4- Ezekiel Jackson for being a He-Man
5- Velvet Sky for doing some fairly decent character work, keeping it simple in the ring, and reaching out to an ex in a classy way.
